I eat: basket bread, Mondego butter, paté, for on the bread. -Olives -¹/² liter of white wine. -Black porc. -For dessert chocolate lava with 1 boule ice. -2 cognac. Price? YES...Eighty-one... Asked explanation, last night and left it,.....But I couldn't get my head around that price( 0ver sixty then..?(counting ...over seventy my cognac cost twelve and fifty E.. foe!) I went back this evening, got my fatura de especificação (which I forgot yesterday..!!)The purser was very unfriendly and intimidating. "When you eat, you pay (verbally aggressively). Next time you eat chicken somewhere." The price was mainly in the cognac..eighteen- fifty....each !! Never again!!! He almost threw me out of the door with his eyes. Says enough. Robbers of...

Not what I expect of a fish restaurant. We haven't tried any shellfish, maybe that was the mistake. The fish was neither grilled nor steamed or crispy roasted, it was rather medium warm deep-fried in oil which was not what I expected. Also in terms of taste I have to say it was missing it. Hence, personally I cannot recommend the place for fish. But service and stuff was friendly and welcoming, maybe only my wrong...

I came here for the first time with my girlfriend. We had lunch more times in this restaurant and every time was amazing! I never experienced this food and taste in my life. It was speechless every time. The restaurant is old school, with a chill vibe and very clean. The owner is very sweet and takes good care of his guests. You have to try here the draft beer and sangria, is the best in the village. Anything you have here is very simple and full of taste!

We are here three times during our stay at the nearby campsite. Amazing fresh fish, oysters, mussels. I wanted to go back last Wednesday, but we were visiting nearby towns. We are still in Zambujeira and will go again. The man working there is very nice and last time we had a short conversation a bit in Portuguese and English, the amazing fresh fish did the rest :) Good prices and nice location. Obrigado!!!

Han havde engang fået dem i Hamborg på en portugisisk restaurant og huskede dem som en lille mundfuld af ren lykke – måske som mad smager, når man taler om det allerbedste, der findes. Så da vi endelig trådte ind i den lille restaurant, var forventningerne høje. Men den erfarne ejer kunne straks fortælle, at sardinerne ikke egner sig til stegning på denne årstid. I stedet blev vi tilbudt en portugisisk specialitet – sardiner, der koges, saltes og marineres i olie. Det var denne delikatesse, vi fik serveret som forret, og jeg må nu indrømme: Jeg er blevet i tvivl. Er det de stegte eller de marinerede sardiner, der er min himmel? Eller måske begge dele? Hovedretten var en tunsteak – stegt til perfektion, så den stadig var blød og rosa i midten, præcis som den skulle være. Og sådan endte eventyret denne aften, ikke med en konklusion, men med en ny smag at drømme om.
