Beware getting overcharged on fish, and aggressive placement of the unpriced "cover charge" offerings as you sit down, which you can always refuse. It all adds up in the end.

The pricing is opaque e.g. they don't price wine by the glass on the menu but then serve it by the glass anyway, and when quizzed they just respond "it's okay" without going into further detail, and treat you like you're being paranoid. They price fish by the kilo. The prices per kilo are high anyway, but the worst is that they don't show you the weight of the fish before cooking so you don't know what they're going to charge you at the end. In my view this amounts to dishonest or careless practices.

When we went into the restaurant the guy said between 22 and 24 euros for the dorada but when I got the bill it was 35 euros. At 45 euros per kilo I had obviously eaten one heck of a fish! In their defence they knocked about 10 euros off the bill when I challenged them on this (immediate confession of guilt??), however I think they bank on most tourists not bothering with the aggro of challenging them.

The food was average. Not bad. A dorada is a plentiful and inexpensive fish. It shouldn't cost much more than 20 euros at a restaurant. It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth when you feel you have been overcharged like that - intentional or otherwise. To the restaurant, please, clarify your pricing at the least, guys, and don't be so casual with the bill process....

Absolutely no friendly service, they didn't even say hey when we sat down. Then the waitress placed a plate with a snack without any explanation (which wasn't even tasty), it was crackers and cheese that had been sitting in the warmth for a long time. We ate a little bit of it... the rest of the food that we ordered ourselves was mediocre. When we asked for the bill, it showed 9.50 euros for the plate that we did NOT order, we told her this and she said 'but you ate from it so you have to pay' - no, you should have told us that we had to pay 9.50 euros for this disgusting plate of snacks, then we wouldn't have eaten it. DEFINITELY NOT...

A bit disappointed by this lunch. The staff were lovely but the food was overpriced. We ordered shrimp tacos which cost €14 and were very small and not amazing in terms of taste. We were hiking and coming from a 22K walk so we were very hungry and very disappointed that the staff did not let us know how tiny this dish was. The rest of the food was good in terms of portion sizes but average in taste. Generally overpriced for...
