It used to be good now it's awful ... Just a sushi buffet with aspirations and price to be something better, and isn't ... You'll pay a lot, and be served ... I would say pre-packaged food ... Maybe not, but close
For context this was my last review: (none of the good things I said here are now available, avoid if possible)
Good food, nice ambiance, the chef suggestions were great. I had the tasting menu and it surprised me, which is something I don't say lightly. The sake cocktail was very good.
Very nice server, it seemed to be her first day but very very nice. Experience helps but isn't everything, I'll get back to that in the end.
A bit pricey, having a meal here won't be very frequent. The quality of the sushi was great, which is becoming very rare, and the fish was very fresh ... Portions were quite enough, maybe even a tad over what I was expecting. So, yes it was worth it.
So, neighbourhood restaurant, quite the surprise ... I was lusting for sushi and it completely satisfied my craving.
I'll give 5 stars but one thing I didn't like:
Saturday at 12:15, before seating I was warned I would have to leave at 13:30, the manager warned the server. Not a good way to start ... I was having lunch alone ... It seems a bit rude and I didn't really need the stress. My workday is quite enough. I didn't book a table because it was early and I was alone - I understand that restaurants were closed because of Covid but this restaurant didn't stop working, as take away and Uber Eats option was always available. So don't pass your stress to the Customers ... Besides, I left at 13:15, the warning was not needed.
That spoiled the experience a bit, but the server tried to make me at ease (she was clearly unconfortable with the warning), so 5 stars. It...
Read moreWe dine at Yó Nashi Sushi Bar, and I've got some thoughts to share. The experience was pretty satisfying overall. The fusion sushi they offer is a unique twist on the traditional classics. While the quality and freshness of the food were good, I wouldn't say it was mind-blowing. The environment had a pleasant vibe, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy the meal. If you're into trying out different sushi combinations and appreciate a fusion approach, Yó Nashi is definitely worth a visit. Keep in mind that if you're looking for a wide range of traditional options, you might find the variety a bit limited. The waiter that served us was Amazing. That's why I give 5 to...
