Danau Beach Bar — Restaurant in Peniche

I've nothing but good things to say about this place. First the attention it's so so nice they have an amazing energy you can feel it, sometimes you go to a place and see a man on their 40' or 50' taking over the tasks and they are always kinda angry or they just don't care if you want to buy or not... Well this is not the case you will get in here and every single person will be super caring and loving. First time I went I just went for a beer and the guy told me to try out the fish soup, man I've got to say IT WAS AMAZING super tasty. I went like 7 times before leaving this review and all of them I had an awesome experience with their attention and manners.

Now about the place it had this kinda country and super surfer vibe 😁🏄 it's located right in front of the break and from the bar you can see both beaches of baleal the north and south side. The music it's nice sometimes they have someone playing and it's not that loud so it lets you have your conversation.

And talking about prices it's just perfect not too expensive and I think it's just a fair amount totally worth it for the service. Please people if you felt the same way when you go there don't forget to tip them...

We were spending a nice night at this restaurant/club. All of and sudden one of my friends (who is bwt married by few years and legitely nicest person ever) got pulled aside. The so called bouncers hit him and knocked him out for no reason and he chipped he´s tooth.

We are highly educated persons with high education regarding all kind of not OK behaviour.

We were trying to figure out what happened with the bouncers and all of a sudden one of us got hit to the head AGAIN. This is absurd since we were trying to make things right and find out who hit the guy before. For a reward we got attacked by a friend of the bouncers.

The person who hit my friend was clearly a friend of the bouncers. After the physical attack, right in front of their face, all they had to say was "I didn´t see anything". Yeah right. This restaurant is a joke. The only resort was to call the police. This place is absurd.

The only explanation was: "respect the house rules" which totally did and the only resort by the men and the half bouncer could give My lawyers will...

Such a bad place to eat.A complete waste of money. We were an adult family of 5 who came because 2 of our group had actually had good food here at one point. This time.. Al of us had complaints about our food, barely edible. Meat burgers cold.. fries tasted stale and reheated (also cold), salad was coated in a sweet ice cream like sauce. The cooks out the back on their phones (it was not like it was busy). When the "chef" stuck his finger into the cold chicken burger he shook his head at the other "chef". Music way too loud couldn't tall with each other.

Only saving grace was that when we complaines the guy on the bar gave us a round of free coffee.
