The owner is so kind and friendly that his behavior made us come 3 times to this restaurant! So the service deserves at least 15 stars! :D I loved his honesty and recommendations, you can see that he doesn't try to sell you the most expensive dish but realistic choice for the day. The food: We had a tuna stake(ca 14€), fish of the day, octopus(ca 18€), steak omg!, shrimps, garlic bread, fresh cheese, local vine.. Not to go in to details, each choice every night was just perfect! The fish is normally served with sweet and normal potatoes. I normally don't like sweet potatoes, I loved it here - I guess this tells something. Tuna stake the best ever tried, same goes for the octopus. Atmosphere: The restaurant is not the fanciest restaurant, but it gives a very local vibe. I would recommend the place at the terrace with the view to the ocean and cows.

The food was quite good, with surprising garnish options like melon/watermelon. We had a soup of the day, octopus and squid. Some cookie-mousse for the dessert. Everything was fine, portions quite big, but they lacked a bit of zest. I would rate the place as relatable and tasty but not extraordinary for it's class. There is a small terrace with a view to accompany the meal. Edit: we have visited the place again and I can confirm, it's consistent and you can count on decent food. We have tried additionally the fish of the day - tasty, buttery boca negra and sirloin with fantastic fries in some batter.

Very good food, it just takes a little longer for the food to be prepared but that's to be expected here in Portugal with nearly full restaurants. The waiter was polite and was always checking if there was something wrong with the food or if we liked it. I would recommend visiting this restaurant as it's not expensive and the food is delicious. Also try their desert!

If you go to Ponta Delgada, you must go to this place. The hospitality is 10/10. Its a Father and son who are working the restaurant and they went out of our way- literally left the restaurant just to go out and get us a pack of playing cards. The seafood was absolutely amazing- full selection of local fish. You have to try the octopus cataplana. I also went back and tried the “hunk of meat” which was amazing- Served with fresh passion fruit at the side. The Quantity at this place was also 10/10. If you’re a body builder like myself you will not regret going here. If you are looking for a hole in the wall restaurant with locals, this is the place to go. It’s right next to a local bar and a plaza/park. Anyway just go here, I wont type...
