The owner is so kind and friendly that his behavior made us come 3 times to this restaurant! So the service deserves at least 15 stars! :D I loved his honesty and recommendations, you can see that he doesn't try to sell you the most expensive dish but realistic choice for the day. The food: We had a tuna stake(ca 14€), fish of the day, octopus(ca 18€), steak omg!, shrimps, garlic bread, fresh cheese, local vine.. Not to go in to details, each choice every night was just perfect! The fish is normally served with sweet and normal potatoes. If you go to Ponta Delgada, you must go to this place. The hospitality is 10/10. Its a Father and son who are working the restaurant and they went out of our way- literally left the restaurant just to go out and get us a pack of playing cards. The seafood was absolutely amazing- full selection of local fish. You have to try the octopus cataplana. I also went back and tried the “hunk of meat” which was amazing- Served with fresh passion fruit at the side. The Quantity at this place was also 10/10. If you’re a body builder like myself you will not regret going here. If you are looking for a hole in the wall restaurant with locals, this is the place to go. The food was quite good, with surprising garnish options like melon/watermelon. We had a soup of the day, octopus and squid. Some cookie-mousse for the dessert. Everything was fine, portions quite big, but they lacked a bit of zest. I would rate the place as relatable and tasty but not extraordinary for it's class. There is a small terrace with a view to accompany the meal.
