Wonderful casual place for a beer, a coffee, or a wonderfully prepared, hearty meal. This is a locals place, with traditional dishes that reflect this. Good prices ( CASH ONLY) and great pizzas, too. There are TVs and the place is popular for soccer games. Indoor seating, bar, and outside covered cafe area. This family also has some farmland and if you are lucky enough to visit when they have harvested fresh Fava beans, try the family's recipe! Delightful. We have eaten just about every dish on the menu, all are good. The special fejoida is amazing, while the omlette, fish fillers and chicharros are are favorite go to dinners on the normal menu. OH, and their soup is always home made and amazing. This place still serves it in a large bowl, so with bread it's pretty much a meal by itself. It’s quite convenient that at least a couple of the waiters speak English, as a Portuguese myself I noticed how helpful it was for a couple sitting next to me.
