There are other options in the village with large queues and rustic settings however if you walk to the harbour I would state that you will not be disappointed with the platter of fish that is on offer from this establishment. Having worked in catering I enjoy my food and appreciated the Joy, time and effort required to cook my outstanding flavoured Pexe.

We tried Lapas for the first time, like local mussels served steaming with garlic and butter. Then we had 3 different types of grilled fish - all delicious and flavorful. Read moreI give 1 star as the rating of this place is fake, should be closer to 2 stars. Food was terrible, our tuna fish was overcooked, the salad is just some lettuce, vinegar over the beans and olives tasted bad, the mayo was over date. Service was fine, but would paying 19 euro in the Azores for such bad food is just unacceptable!
I hope they can improve on these points and really cook some decent food...
