We were looking for a place to eat for something simple. By the way, it seems that almost everything has died out in Terceira around noon. In the better known travel books, restaurants are recommended that are completely empty on arrival. But back to this restaurant. After sitting outside on the small terrace and having waited a while I just went inside myself and asked if we could order something. The nice young man who, incidentally, could speak to us reasonably well in English, hurried to our table with a tablecloth and cutlery. After studying the menu, which by the way could only be read in Portuguese and handwritten, we were helped with the translation by the same friendly young man. We both ordered a piece of fried cod. After waiting for at least 30 minutes, no meal was still delivered while the restaurant with many more seats inside became more and more full. The owner commented that we still had no food on the table and not long afterwards the young man came to apologize for the delay in which we could not fully explain why the delay was there. Not soon afterwards we received our food, which looked delicious. Apparently it is common here in the Azores that the fish is served with quite a lot of bone. Personally I find that very annoying because you have to eat very carefully. All in all not a bad meal but I expected more. The price on the other hand for two people with two drinks was very reassuring, namely 22 euros. (remember, almost no vegetables are served with meals). Tip: there is a small supermarket next to the restaurant where you can buy some water for the journey,...

One thing to remember if you order Seafood you'll probably get fish with bone in so please ask if that's not okay with you, they do serve at least one dish that is a Boneless fish filet. Most dishes are served with boiled potatoes and salad. The house wine Vinho Tinto red wine...
Read moreWe visited Ti-Pedro since no other restaurant was open that day. Skeptical at first, we decided to book a table anyway. Seated under a fluorescent cold lighting in the corridor between the ladies restroom and a blaring TV, we ordered the fish catch of the day - more bone than fish, very difficult to eat. The salad on the side is white lettuce with a few olives and ananas on top - no dressing, but there‘s white vinegar to spice it up. Service...
