Sushi Wok — Restaurant in Praia da Vitória

We found the place by chance and were actually super happy when they told us that they could have a table ready for us in a few minutes (quite difficult to find anything open at that time). We were kindly accommodated on our table, and were left to find a menu a pen and a paper on the table. We decided to check the menu and write a couple of things we wanted to eat and drink, and were served our drinks fairly fast. After waiting quite a bit for our dishes, we received our order and were not surprised, either by the quantity and/or quality, but still decided to order something more. After waiting for a while, getting no attention from any waiter, we decided it was time to go, so when the waitress finally came to the table, we told her we were done and asked for the bill. Since it was never brought to us we went to pay to the bar, to be surprised by the fact that we had been charged for a buffet price, and the bill was 60€ for 3 small dishes and 3 drinks. We accept the fact that we did not realize until that point, but we were also never informed about how it worked...first time in my life I leave hungry...

The sushi is mostly just rice (like a huge ball of rice so you get full on that and don't order much else on the buffet), and there was a little hair in my plate of pasta. The entry door made a super loud shrieking noise that hurt the ears every time it opened or closed, which was often, and the room had a smell. They didn't have any fish other than salmon the two times we went there (so only 1/3 of the options are available), and this was a couple months apart. The drinks were served way before the food arrived, which took quite a while to be served. The service/waiters were the only decent thing. Worst service ever, the waitress was very attentive, but the rest of the employees are scammers and with very bad customer service. We ordered the buffet at night we asked for several times if drinks were included and the waiter told us they were, then when we paid it wasn't included. The first order everything was ok, but when we ordered for the second time everything was a disaster. They told us that some menu items were not available, then they forgot to bring the order. It was a total of 45€ for two people, super expensive for the food received. Also, the portions were really small and they didn't look like the pictures they show...
