The space is cozy and the background music playlist is excellent. The service is professional. The prices are fair, except the temaki, which is rather small for what you pay. Now when it comes to the food… they have 3 menus: 1 mostly sushi rolls, 1 fusion and 1 original. I picked the fusion one to try a bit of both worlds. It was well prepared, well presented and fresh.
Things I loved: the service, the food and the tempura ice cream. Things I didn’t like: the salmon misu, had only 1 small piece of salmon and the rest was pieces of tofu… Things to improve: size of the temaki; have a bigger option for the ice cream tempura (was delicious but rather small); salmon dose on of the fried rolls (barely any salmon); real wasabi.

When arriving without one, the young waiter stammered about his boss, that fish cannot be eaten hygienically in open air on their terrace, that take-away is also not possible at the moment, despite it being advertised on their website and so on and so forth. It made us wholeheartedly regret having had a crave for Japanese food on Terceira. Karma I suppose, so after this Ginsu "concept" desaster we re-centered our focus on discovering the amazing local cuisine. So at the least: thanks for setting our...
