We’ve tried the best reviewed burger places during our one week stay in São Miguel and this is from far the best, maybe even the best burger I’ve ever had. The structure is somewhat humble, unassuming and popular, but the quality is excellent and the service quite fast. They have lots of options of burgers that come with fried potatoes and a drink if you order as a menu. We recommend tasting the local passion fruit soft drink Kima. They also have very tasty side dishes too. We recommend the onion rings and the karaage (fried chicken strips). Dishes come with either the mayo based house sauce or a Thay sweet chili sauce. Its a road-side kind of place and even though the food is very good taste wise the atmosphere is not the best. Expect fast-food like experience. The ordering is quite chaotic and it took us some time before we even figured out where the menu is and how to order. Then you order at one window and you get the food and drinks from another. Since there was like 6 orders before us, we asked for drinks in advance which they gave us, but then they got confused and almost gave us second free one with the food.

The burgers were amazing. The burger was fresh and juicy, the bun crispy and light, and the toppings were awesome. If I lived locally, this would be my local burger joint for sure!
