I visited the restaurant for lunch, and I was confronted by a waitress who was clearly not happy to be there : a barely whispered hello, not a smile, and despite the number of seats available, she asked me if we had a reservation.
I replied that we didn't, but that there were only four of us, so she very sympathetically seated us at the very back of the restaurant, near the toilets, even though there were plenty of better tables available ! This made it difficult to interact with the waiters throughout the meal, as we were seated away from the kitchen and the main room... And we all spoke Portuguese, so I can't imagine what it would have been if we were tourists !
However, it did give me time to contemplate the disabled toilets, made completely inaccessible by a bench placed right in the middle of the path : what a lack of respect for people with reduced mobility !

We arrived at 11:30 we thought we would wait outside until 12:00 but on the terrace there was a man who looked like the head chef sitting with some friends and he invited us in. Num jantar de grupo onde o suposto era ser grelhada mista à descrição decidiram deixar de trazer arroz ao fim de 4 pratos. Quando questionada do porquê a funcionária disse que "não havia mais arroz", virando as costas. Depois de ser questionada por um colega meu disse que "iam fazer" mas na verdade o arroz nunca apareceu. Quem queria arroz esperou mas nunca o recebeu, tendo a empregada recolhido os pratos quando assim entendeu mesmo com muitos elementos do grupo não tendo terminado a refeição devido à falta de arroz. Para a sobremesa trouxeram 2 tabuleiros mas apenas com 2 serraduras. Pedimos por mais serradura e disseram "têm aí baba de camelo" que por sua vez era praticamente água. No fim do jantar dirigi-me à referida empregada com educação perguntando mais uma vez sobre a questão do arroz tendo-me respondido com displicência "ó amigo, eu não tou na cozinha", virando costas. Não é o atendimento que se espera de um restaurante deste calibre e que cobra preços tão elevados.
Na situação anterior que aproveito para referir, onde estava com um grupo muito grande, reservamos toda a sala. Inclusive um colega trouxe a sua guitarra para tocar. Marcámos para depois da hora de fecho para não incomodar os outros clientes. Depois de comer, quando o meu colega ia começar a tocar desligaram as luzes, dizendo que são "automáticas" e que não conseguiriam ligar, forçando o grupo a sair do restaurante e levando um preço absurdo...
