Albergaria da Tomásia — Restaurant in Sesimbra

We were amazed with this restaurant in the middle of really small, quiet Portuguese village. It’s uniqness is up to amazing hospitality of the father-daughter duo. Antonio and Ines give not only the highest quality of local products - from local vegetables, wines, to fish or meat selection, but also so much care, love and attention to each customer - you have to live it to feel it. Also heartwarming is the fact that the land that restaurant and hotel are on, it’s a part of very long family story, and Ines is not only an amazing Chef but also an architect that brought this place to life. Please remember - restaurant it’s working in summer season - may to september - outside of the season you have to call in and make a reservation🥰

We really enjoyed the evening here. A fantastic service: very attentative and purely authentic. António, his daughter Inés and the whole team are taking care of their guests in a very familiar way. We also loved the food. The smoked mackerel from the region was a very nice start(er), the Moqueca was superb and the coconut dessert as well. António has a food & wine store in Sesimbra (in the 5th generation) and I am sure we will be back to eat in this restaurant and...

Agradável surpresa. Zona desconhecida para nós que decidimos visitar e marcar estadia na Albergaria da Tomásia. A Aldeio do Meco faz lembrar uma aldeia de “bonecas”, tem tudo na medida certa. Em relação ao Alojamento, este é muito acolhedor e simpático. Fantástico pequeno almoço personalizado. A Inês nasceu para receber hóspedes, super atenciosa e delicada. Arquitetura muita bem desenhada com o espaço muito bem aproveitado. |Adorei a zona da piscina e dar uns mergulhos ao final do dia. O quarto está muito bem equipado, desde mini frigorífico, a ventoinha, pequeno aquecedor, secador de cabelo, chaleira eléctrica com saquetas de chá, chávenas e copos, toalhas de casa de banho e para a piscina, televisão bastante grande, etc Certamente que iremos voltar. |A meu ver o único ponto negativo é a facto de os quartos não estarem bem isolados a nível acústico sendo possível ouvir os vizinhos dos quarto ao lado, os carros a passar na rua, cães a ladrar etc, o que faz com que o descanso noturno não seja...
