Tasca do Márcio — Restaurant in Sesimbra

It used to be our favourite restaurant we have gone there lots of times but we won’t come back. It Took us 2:30 hours to have lunch today, some people who Came after us had already eaten while we haven’t started. The rice we ordered never came and the chicken should had been packed for take away was thrown away. The waiter tried to apologize, he didn’t want us to pay the olives and cheese but the owner made him to increase the bill including that amount (although we had paid for the chicken and they had thrown away half of it) we had to stand up and go to pay as noone came to charge the meal. Found this gem by chance when everything else was closed at 19:00. With only one other couple there, I wasn't expecting much. The menu was all in Portuguese, so ordering was a bit of a gamble with Google Translate! Went for the grilled chicken, a bottle of wine, and a small beer. The food was AMAZING! Just bones left in minutes. Can't recommend it enough. The staff were relaxed and didn't rush us out, even though the place was packed by the time we were ready to leave. nice little unpretentious spot (as most of the time in portugal...) with top food (we tried picanha, salmao, alheira, ..) and pretty big portions! vinho da casa is supernice (a bit like natural sparkly vinho verde) and cheap. their service is great and everyone´s superfriendly and welcoming. marcio gave us a bottle of his homemade chilisauce and we had a nice chat at the end of our dinner, até a proxima,...
