Worst Service and mediocre meals! The waiter rolled his eyes and seemed annoyed, that we wanted to stay for dinner (it was around 8.30pm). There was also a language barrier, but we made sure that he understood our order, even though we found out later there were waiters who could perfectly speak english and it was not a busy evening. Instead of Bitoque with chicken we got goat meat, which some couldn‘t eat and let the waiter know about the mistake, but we didn‘t demand another dish. It was told, that they were out of chicken and just prepared goat meat instead, without notifying us. Then they brought out extra plates with chicken filet, which we thought was compensation for their mistake. It was far too much, so we wanted to have it packed for take away and didn’t want it go to waste. The worst part was, they just charged us 24€ extra for the chicken filet we didn‘t order and consume. My bet is a big miscommunication from the bad tempered waiter or the owner is a scammer trying to take advantage of tourists and arguing about their own incapability. No decency, not an ounce of customer-friendly service, we did not get scammed in the end and in return they threw the food away in the trash. Would definitely...

The worse restaurant ever, the worse customer service ever seen. We was waiting about 17 min or more front of the till to wait somebody to serve us, but they ask just the people who speaks Portugal to order food. I don’t understand at all what is the problem, then one guy stuff from the restaurant come to us and ask what we want ( my words was: finally someone speaks English) and he start to argue with me and be very rude as there is not body responsible to speak English as I need to speak Portugal. I ask him if he is available to receive my order but he keep being rude and very angry. In the end I just get out because it was impossible to speak with him. Then other couple behind was also complain something about the food.

Very very bad experience! My advice is to avoid this place as is even...

Péssima experiência. Estive neste restaurante no dia em que escrevo esta review. Após uma experiência já não muito agradável no restaurante principe real, estavamos a regressar ao estacionamento onde deixamos estacionado o nosso carro e estava uma viatura pretencente ao dono do restaurante (informação obtida por um empregado de mesa deste restaurante, dizendo também que só tirava a carrinha quando quisessem porque eu nao posso estacionar ali, independentemente se posso ou não estacionar, é desta forma que tratam um cliente que gastou dinheiro no restaurante deles? Até porque neste caso tenho razão em estacionar nas vagas do restaurante, uma vez que fui cliente estacionei nas vagas que dizem Restaurante principe real, e a polícia confirmou-me que de todas a vezes futuras que eu frenquentasse o espaço, podia estacionar a viatura naquelas vagas...) Entretanto esta situação ter acontecido até foi uma coisa boa pois enquanto ninguém veio tirar a mencionada carrinha da segunda fila para que eu pudesse sair do estacionamento, veio um outro funcionário do restaurante tirar do interior dessa carrinha 5 caixas cheias de peixe totalmente descobertas. Visto que esta mencionada carrinha tinha uns autocolantes nas laterais que dizia "garagem principe real, manutenção auto" não me parece muito convencional utilizar uma viatura que provavelmente não cumpre minimamente os requisitos de higiene e segurança alimentar contemplados pelo HACCP tal como também não aparentava ser refrigerada (ou seja aquelas caixas de peixe que eu vi com o gelo derretido deve-se ao facto da viatura nao ser refrigerada e isso deixa ficar a dúvida de que forma os restantes alimentos frescos são armazenados no restaurante) Não exerço nenhuma função de tecnico alimentar atualmente, mas no entanto tenho qualificação profissional para tal pelo que irei recorrer a todos os meios para que se faça uma fiscalização...
