Excellent service in a very beautiful building. I ate alone but there was enough room. The clams for starters were just brilliant... so good. And a very generous portion as well. The main was bacalhau in local style... I don't know what to say, but fish with cheese and fruit... for me it just doesn't work. It doesn't belong together, not even on the same plate. Also, I think I was unlucky with the previous cut off the fish, because the amount of bones was just too much. Sure I know fish have bones, but benares of the cheese, you can't see or even feel the bones until you eat... or take the whole dish apart. But like I said, I think this cut was unlucky as well. For dessert I had a cheesecake. I normally don't eat dessert, but for some reason I did this time. It was very sweet and simply over the top for me. Lovely staff, lovely food, freshly prepared with lovely finishing touches. A sprig of redcurrants on the rice, a sweet gooseberry on the mashed pumpkin. Lunch with kind owner/chef. Most riendly server Marina made our lunch special. Between our broken Portuguese and her good english, food and drinks were spot on.
