Great food and cocktails! But... About the food: we ordered picanha (rump cap) because it was recommended by the waiter (not surprising since itâs the most expensive meat they have, I found it quite dishonest), then we asked it to be medium rare but it was very rare. Donât get me wrong it was good, but it just shows they didnât listen to us, customers. The risottos were really really tasty, we tried the mushroom risotto and the shrimp risotto. As for the desserts, the coffee panna cotta was heaven on hearth but their âcheesecake de ovos molesâ was frankly disappointing. Itâs funny because it was also suggested by the waiter and itâs the most expensive dessert on the menu. About the wine: they have a good selection of wines and we were very happy with our choice, Quinta do Noval never disappoints About the cocktails: we often come in just to have cocktails, theyâre tasty, delicious, carefully elaborated, I absolutely love them The place could use a makeover but the ambiance is pleasant and the staff is friendly As for the prices, some things are a bit overpriced for Portuguese standards but I guess it goes with the restaurantâs...

We had several cocktails at the bar while waiting to be seated â and let me tell you, that bartender is a world-class champion. Sadly, not enough customers seem to notice him.
Now, back to the meat â it was absolutely delicious. To give you an idea of how good it was: my wife only eats meat when thereâs absolutely nothing else to eat⊠and she ended up licking her fingers after finishing both her steak and mine đ. So yeah, the meat is amazing.
