Higher priced than other local restaurants, but very convenient and within walking distance of the ferry station at Velas. We went for lunch on a weekday, and it seemed to be the local lunch spot. We didn't receive a menu, but the very friendly English-speaking wait staff told us of the vegetarian options. We had a very tasty vegetarian chili with rice and a local carbonated drink called "Kima" which we enjoyed a lot. We were also surprised that this restaurant was willing to provide us with a pitcher of "tap" water (very good) instead of insisting we buy bottled water. We didn't experience this at any other restaurant in Velas, and later we saw a sign advertising that Azores tap water is perfectly fine to drink and to drink it with "confidence". Der Salatnwar eine ordentliche Portion, jedoch bekamen wir kein Salz und Essig Öl ist umweltunfreundlich in kleinen Plastiktütchen abgepackt, die zu wenige waren. Sowas gehört sowieso verboten. War nur die Opportuntiät dort zu essen, da wir mit Gepäck auf die Fähre warten mussten. Würde nicht wiederkommen. Der Service war nett war aber als das Restaurant sich füllte überfordert. Wir waren zum Glück die ersten Gäste, das Hauptgericht brauchte dennoch eine Weile. Die Gemüse Suppe des Tages war ebenso sehr einfach im Geschmack.
