I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dasau and i wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exeptional experience. The ambiance of this establishment is truly inviting with fantastic views surrounded by the ocean creating a relaxed atmosphere. From the moment we walked in the service was outstanding. The staff was not only attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, helping us make delightful choices. The menu is a gastronomic delight offering a diverse selection of dishes. We sampled the chestnut wild mushrooms with fois gras, the oxtail croquettes, the mushroom and asparagus rice, and the warm chocolate cake and each one was a culinary masterpiece. The creativity presentation and the explosion of flavours truly set Dasau apart. One aspect that plesently surprised us was the attention to our dietary needs. The Chef accomadated our special requests with grace which added to the overall experience. I must also commend the efficient handling of reservations and the seamless flow of service throughout the evening. Its evident that the team is dedicated to provide a top-notch dining experience.

You know you are in the right place to eat when basic staples such as bread and olive oil are great.

Highly recommend the "croquetes" and the octopus, paired with a chilled bottle of a nice Crescendo white wine.

Desserts are also a plus. I recommend the peach and strawberry salad with basil and melon sorbet. Light and fresh, it's ideal for a Summer day!

Best restaurant in Viana do Castelo. The food is incredible! We loved everything. The olive paté was delicious, the shrimp just fantastic and the crab dish served in a shell was just wow! We were surprised by how good the goat cheese ice cream was for dessert. You definitely don’t want to miss it!
