Fonte dos Amores — Restaurant in Vieira do Minho

Just booked as stop over for 1 night - for that it's ok - personal friendliness/attentiveness (@ breakfast) very basic and they only speak portugues.

The rooms are quite nice with a beautiful balcony and view. Eventhough located at a busy road during the day, it was very quiet during the night + you can get nice fresh air from outside - that was perfect. What I missed in the room: Shampoo + Showergel (meanwhile standard nearly ever where), some more space/a shelf in the bathroom to but belongings and reading lights at the bed.

Breakfast the most basic I had during my 2 weeks travel in Portugal. I was told at 9h30 - but at that time nothing was ready. 1 woman in the kitchen told me to wait - at least I could already get a coffee from her. The restaurant personal arrived only at 9h45 - to than serve...

A great stop for food and drinks when traveling on the road near Braga and the international park Greça. The place is spacious with indoor and outdoor sittings, slightly uphill. There is a cool natural water tap right at the bottom of the place so you can refresh yourself nicely during the summer heat. The prices of the drinks are equal to the prices in grocery stores or supermarkets in Portugal, which is cheap. For example, a 1l bottle of cool chilled water is €1.5. An Magnum ice cream is €1.5. Terrible service, we asked for coffee and fruit salad and after 10 minutes we were still waiting for the staff to dry the table and chairs because the place has a lot of humidity ( natural from the forest). During the same time other couple and son gave up and got out. So the view is incredible but the service is too bad! And after this time we saw that the problem was because they prefer people who came to have lunch and not breakfast, we couldn't have sitting on the tables...
