Churrasqueira O Pescador — Restaurant in Vila do Conde

Came here on a weekend after a walk along the beach to grab lunch. The place was packed with some lines outside, but we got a table fast.

I tried the fried stingray for the first time, and it was delicious! Very soft texture, big bones, a bit sticky. The potatoes and fresh salad were great, as were the usual sides. The meal was fantastic, and the check was reasonable. Service was quick and attentive.

I loved that the customers were mainly locals out with their families, not touristy at all! Even though I’m a tourist, I prefer places like this.

The only downside was that we were seated at the back, where it was warm due to no windows. There is the entrance door and a window in the middle of the restaurant providing all the ventilation and airflow, with no air conditioning on. We...

It was fantastic in the past, now just looking to make money without any trackable payment like cards or Mbway. I've asked for sardines in June, smal 5l sardines and when asked if they could add some more answer was "no, you need to ask for another half complete portion". Ridiculous, if you want to sell small sardines then at least increase the number of sardines per portion. I used to be a customer here but I don't like to be tricked and therefore not returning...

Churrasqueira en Vila do Conde, a 50 metros del paseo marítimo. Incluso en pleno agosto he aparcado cerca. Va mucha gente también a llevarse comida a casa. Servicio ágil y para comer a las 14,30 hora española no hemos esperado apenas en viernes y domingo. Hemos comido los dos días, sardinas asadas, bacalao asado, y bacalao al horno, una sopa de legumes, una ensalada pequeña, botella de 37,5 CL de Casal García muy, muy frio, y de postre Pudim de Ovos ( Flan) y bolo fresco de Bolacha, espectaculares ambos postres. El Bacalao en raciones generosas y exquisito, también las sardinas, ensalada, y el café. El servicio es rápido, amable un único pero, creo que están desorganizados. Te toma la comanda uno, te sirve otra, el siguiente plato otro, y la cuenta otro. La verdad es que no sé cómo se aclaran. Quizá por eso me han cobrado una botella grande de agua que no hemos tomado. No he repasado in situ la cuenta y se me ha colado. Los precios son buenos, y la comida buenísima. Sin lujos. Repetiría sin...
