LIP FOOD & DRINKS — Restaurant in Vila do Conde

The food offers are interesting. The place is well located.

However there is an issue with the staff, especially the girls, and I mean all of them. They don't pay attention to the customers or their requests. Barely do any follow up when stuff is missing.

If the owner/manager is present at all (didn't notice anyone doing any managing all of the times I have been there) then he needs to pay more attention to the waiters and go around the room and terrace to check on customers.

The service is very inconsistent and the complaints that I see here regarding the waiting times, tables that are available for waiting guests that are not informed and dirty tables have all been observed by myself too.

The feeling I have is that the place has great potential, the kitchen staff seems to work very hard but the waiters end up ruining part of the experience. And these details are being missed by management.

Regarding the food complaints that I see here, most of them are unfair and it comes down to people not knowing how to order... Or how to eat...

Summing it up, the fact that the place has a high volume of customers (because the food is obviously good) and not enough waiters that are well trained, means waiting times and missed requests.

The feeling that I have is that most of the waiters have zero experience / training, are basically here for a short duration "summer job", do not care about the customers or the service, and unable to manage the volume...

Não é a primeira vez que aqui venho e das vezes que vim não tinha nada apontar mas desta vez correu mal. Pedi uma francesinha poveira lip e o meu espanto foi quando o prato chegou ate mim com restos de batata frita , quando falo em restos é restos mesmo , sabem aquelas pequeninas que ficam no fundo da fritadeira que ninguém quer comer mas serviram a um cliente. Chamo o funcionário e pergunto se tinha acontecido alguma coisa com as batatas pois aquilo não eram batatas para servir a um cliente , no qual ele me responde “ e o que quer que eu faça “ esperava uma resposta diferente mas não foi o que aconteceu. Pedi para falar na cozinha e que não iria pagar uma coisa que não veio em condições. Após a minha reclamação o funcionário veio e perguntou se eu queria 1 dose de batata na qual eu respondo quero mas não vou pagar mais por isso. Já para não falar que trouxeram as entradas que até foi ovos rotos e passando nem 1 minuto veio logo as francesinhas. Serviço péssimo com muita falta de comunicação....

Experiencia bizarra.

1)Após uma mesa de 11 adultos ter feito o pedido o mesmo aparece somente 1h e 15min depois(notar que não tinha mais de 2/3 mesas).

2. enganam se num pedido e não quiseram saber, só após perguntar se “ia almoçar sozinho” é que foi perguntar à cozinha.

3. após o descrito anteriormente, o meu pedido chega e espantem-se, cabelo na comida, desisti e não quis pedir mais nada não fosse ter aqui mais experiências terríveis a relatar deste espaço. A restante mesa incrédula ainda pediu cafés para nós irmos embora, e até aqui a experiência não podia ser pior, café sem creme, sem corpo dando a sensação que estavam a tomar carioc.

4. o patrão mesmo tendo se apercebido de toda a situação NUNCA se dirigiu à mesa para prestar qualquer esclarecimento ou pedir desculpa...
