Restaurante Chãvilla — Restaurant in Vila do Conde

Came here as it was suggested by the campsite as being the best value. It opens at 7pm which since it was nearly dark is late for me so I was the first there. A very helpful lady seemed to be doing everything and after a few tries we managed to work out what I wanted from the menu - basically there is a choice of fish which can be fried or grilled that come with Potatoes/chips and vegetables or salad plus there are other (meat and vegetable) dishes available. Expensive for a portuguese restaurant. We payed 22 euros for few small pieces of fried octupus which was warmed up in the microwave. I am portuguese myself so i know what kind of prices I can expect and this was really exagerated for a place like this. I would nor recommend it. You have better restaurants nearby like "Dunas" where you can have the full menu for 7.50 and much higher food quality.

Preço exagerado para um pequeno restaurante nesta localidade. Nem na ribeira do porto paguei tao caro...

ce soir 15 aout 2024...nous nous sommes presentes a a ce restaurant a 20h....la serveuse npus apporte la carte et nous explique qu en ce jour ferié ils ont beacoup travaillés et plus beaucoup de plats en carte....Ok....nous commandons l apero et les menus...avec ce qui reste...la serveuse revient et nous explique qu il n ya plus de morue....desespoir....la serveuse nous dit je peux vous proposer du turbot....ok on prend...3 ieme passage de la serveuse ..il y a plus de turbot.......la on a dit la c est plus possible on part...meme pas un geste sur les consos ....meme pas une excuses ...c est vraiment minable...quand on tient un resto on anticipe ...pour les jours feriés...ou on ferme le soir....Famiile MAIA...

esta noite, 15 de agosto de 2024...aparecemos neste restaurante às 20h...a garçonete do npus traz o cardápio e nos explica que neste feriado trabalharam muito e não há muitos pratos no cardápio... . Ok....pedimos o aperitivo e os menus...com o que sobrou...a empregada volta e explica-nos que não há mais bacalhau....desespero....a empregada diz-nos que eu posso lhe oferecer um pregado...ok, aceitamos...3ª visita da garçonete...não há mais pregado...dissemos que não é mais possível irmos embora...nem um gesto sobre o consumo....nem um pedido de desculpas...é realmente patético...quando você dirige um restaurante você antecipa...para feriados...ou fecha à noite.......
