A Marisqueira — Restaurant in Vila Franca de Xira

Our last dinner in Portugal ended up being the best seafood we had on the trip. There was a bit of a language barrier when ordering, but thanks to the patient waitress and google translate, we ended up ordering shrimp, mussels and the bread with butter. To our surprise, the shrimp were served cold (never had them like this before, but they were delicious), while the mussels were served freshly cooked in a yummy sauce. Had a wonderful experience here. I went in with not a clue what to order or what the etiquette was and the service I received was excellent, they couldn’t be nicer. The clams was so good, I people have drunk the broth on its own and the shrimps were delicious. Add in lashings of hot buttered toast, crisp cool Sagres beer and a coffee to finish and I rolled out of there on cloud nine. I’ve been recommending it since. Even the meals around me...

Fui lá ontem e foi uma vergonha 😕,nunca em tempo algum entrei num restaurante com 4 funcionários e só veio um pôr as toalhas de papel pôs 2pratos sem talheres,sem copos,sem guardanapos sem mais nada, só havia duas mesas ocupadas,estive 20m à espera que viesse alguém perguntar o que queríamos,mas só estavam na conversa e ninguém se dirigiu à mesa, então não aguentei mais,disse ao meu marido que me ía embora, assim levantei me e vim embora,fomos a Alverca à marisqueira A FÁBRICA, onde de facto é uma maravilha....e já agora o sr funcionário que veio pôr os toalhetes na mesa tinha muito mau aspecto...UMA VERGONHA,pode até ser a comida que seja boa,mas o atendimento é uma vergonha 😕 pus uma estrela mas...
