Al Fanar, a restaurant located in Souq Al Wakrah, is a continuous pleasure and 'go to' restaurant for my friends and I. When we need good hearty food that touches the soul in a calm serene environment, Al Fanar is our place. The food is happy family food at a reasonable price. It's not pretentious - it's just good decent tasty Arabic food. Al Fanar has a beautiful view of the beach and a calm Al Wakrah ocean. Families and friends are either seated outside or inside with family cubicles available inside. Their large breads with sprinkled black sesame seeds, are delicious, and a carbohydrate must.
