Restaurant Miorița Bacau — Restaurant in Bacău

I used to love coming here with my husband and daughter. Sometimes i was bringing friends and parents. This time i was here with my husband, daughter of 4 ,mom, sister and nephew, 2 years old. Our designated waitress was nice, but she had a rude colleague who felt the need of attentioning us that our kids are playing near windows, to keep them on the chair. This made us feel angry, as they were just playing nice,nothing wrong with that. And I would've liked to see her, keeping them calm on their seat, while we were waiting so long for our food to come out. But the worst part was my food. I wasn't sure if I should order grilled salmon or beef medalion with mushroom and green peppercorn sauce. As I am sure I can do salmon home,easily, I went for the beef. Soooo wrong. It came covered in a creamy sauce,made with flour, filled with a big handful of black peppercorn. And..surprise, polenta in the middle. In Romanian, that was "ciulama din făină cu mămăligă " That polenta wasn't even in the menu. But I waited so long,was hungry so I had what I could from it! Horrible anyway. The waitress said she wasn't expecting that either, from the description and she talked with the manager and chef, but they just said, that's how it should look. Wow, they didn't even came to apologise or offer a discount. I will definitely not come here anymore and will tell everyone to avoid. Too bad, they do have other traditional good dishes, but this time they put me off. Will have to try and find others with play area too,so I don't disturb the waitress 🙄 Just realised I couldn't post pictures...

First of all the food was amazing. The soup was great with all the right flavours and with every side needed. The "rasol" great with amazing horseradish side best in town. Good coffee. The atmosphere, here is why the 3 stars. Not very welcome strange clients some not very friendly. The staff decent enough. They have very nice and clean restrooms. After 3 years Ordered using foodpanda, after 35 minutes from when I should received the order contacted them and got ... your food will arrive in 10-15 minutes. Is amazing, I do not like cold food, when I ordered I thought that they will keep what they said (ordered at 12 pm now is 2 pm) much more than the estimated 60 minutes. And I didn't received it yet. Used to order from them but it looks that they don't care anymore about customers. Time to move to...

De la întrarea în restaurantul Miorița, nu am fost întâmpinați de niciun ospătar, deși toți cei 4 ospătari prezenți în locație se aflau așezați la una dintre mese, astfel fiind necesar sa îmi iau singur meniul. La scurt timp la masa la care ne-am așezat a venit un ospătar, care manca și avea gura plina, și care ne-a întrebat ce dorim sa comandam. Acesta a ținut sa precizeze ca ciorbele nu sunt gata, deși era aprox. ora 10:00. Am comandat Tochitura Băcăuană, cost Tochitura 29 lei/buc., ospătarul spunând ca durează 25 de minute. În drumul ospatarului spre bucătărie acesta mormăia, uitându-se spre colegii săi ce se aflau în continuare la masă, iar ajuns la bucătărie a țipat din ușă către bucătari sa pregătească doua Tochituri Băcăuane, întrucât are doi flămânzi la masă. A adus imediat după și cele doua băuturi comandate, respectiv doua sticle cu bere la 0,5 cl, pe care le-a desfăcut în fata noastră, însă nu le-a servit în pahar. La aprox. 40 de minute de la comanda inițială, am întrebat cât mai durează pentru felul de mâncare menționat, spunând ca întreabă la bucătărie și vom primi răspunsul. După alte 5 minute de așteptare, ospătarul a revenit la masă și ne-a transmis ca Tochitura Băcăuană comandata, care ar fi trebuit sa dureze 25 de minute timp de preparare după spusele sale, de fapt mai durează încă 30 de minute, fapt ce ne-a determinat sa ne ridicam de la masa și sa achitam cele doua băuturi consumate, cu riscul de a rămâne, după cum s-a exprimat ospătarul, flamanzi. Nu recomand aceasta locație, servirea lasă de dorit, bunele maniere nu sunt la ele acasă, ospătarul vizibil arogant și vrând sa para superior. As fi lăsat cu siguranță feed-back și despre preparate, însă, se pare, ca pulpa de porc necesară tochiturii...
