Restaurant I'ladrino — Restaurant in Bucharest

Great place for a meal. Not too fancy, no high expectations. 2as a pure Italian restaurant (as per it's specific), 4 overall. One of the most undecided Italian restaurants I have ever seen. Been here while heading towards one of the shopping malls, between lunch and dinner time. Was getting a bit hungry and found out that the restaurant is still there after years and years. It's been almost 4 years since I was there last time (my bad, as it is totally worth it). The restaurant gets overall 4 stars, although it should get 2 as an Italian specific. Why , anyone would ask? Well, because while going to an Italian restaurant your menu starts with Mexican courses, moves on to Romanian traditional, then Chinese and at the end you get to Italian. A little undecided for an Italian restaurant. And if you serve Mexican, where is the Tequila from the beverages menu? And Tsing Tao or rice wine for Chinese? Or even Palinca for Romanian traditional dishes? Decided to go for Chinese in an Italian specific restaurant, which I might say was amongst the better prepared and with great taste, surpassing even most Chinese traditional restaurants. Their Chinese food is in the top 10 in Bucharest. Surprising, but very welcome. Beverages at a good price-quality ratio and varied for a Romanian restaurant. Nothing Italian on the menu unfortunately. Service is great. Wanted to get a soup, but waiter said he would not serve to me as that was not from that day, so would not risk it and will advice the cook to throw away. One of the best attitudes I have ever seen in a waiter, not hungry to make a sell, but very customer oriented. Also very attentive, came to the table every 10 minutes asking if the food is good, or if I needed something. Food came quicky, beverages also. One of the best services out there until now, at least in my top 10. Location looks nice for a neighbourhood restaurant also, has been recently renovated. Has a closed terrace with heaters and radiators, is very warm. They also have blankets at the table if you need them. All in all, a nice place with great service and good food. To remember and come back again while in the area. Can go there for a beer or even for a meal with friends. Beats many of the restaurants I've been to and was indeed a great surprise. What they maybe need to work on is the branding and beverages menu, to adapt to the food. Otherwise, I highly recommend for what it is - your great neighbourhood restaurant, non-gourmet or fine dining, but great food...

good food but to expensive for its location and services....please coment carrefuly my cher l'Ladrino, I will resume my review based on the fact that location is not even near of city center, and some chicken breast with a side dish is way overpriced even compared with restaurants that have more visitors than you do. Also, if you want to say that a freezed fruit fresh, at half size than compared with other places, which i asked is double the price of the same that I asked in another location in RO, ok, maybe we can put it on the fact that that restaurant is in Bran, verry well known, also, is a resort, so, yea, it doesn't make sense. And last but not the least, treat your clients like you want to be treated when going out, and don't assume things if you know nothing ..John Snow...4 stars, not going to happen...and I said your food is good,...

The food we ordered was not bad, and when it arrived it was still warm. We live 15 minutes from the restaurant maybe that's why. However, having ordered from this place multiple times across a couple of years, I have to say that the portions have gotten really small while the prices went up. Last time we ordered 2 portions of fries (250g each in the menu) and we got 300g in total (out of 500g). Same story with the rest of our order. Everything was half of what was advertised in the menu. We actually weighed the products and we were shocked. We decided to stop ordering food from them, because they really mistreat their customers when the put half of the food per portion. I find...
