Restaurant Reyna — Restaurant in Constanta Metropolitan Area

The food was very good, everything we ordered tasted fresh and was well prepared. Wine was also very good and staff (most of them) spoke english which at Mamaia is rather still a rarity. However, the attitude of some of the staff could definitely been better, we were not allowed to sit by the window because “we were not a larger group”, even though the tables could easily be split, and then some heavy smokers were seated there (not good if you have kids with you). When paying the waiter asked directly for a tip and then made us known that he wasn’t happy with the amount. Toilets could use some cleaning. Overall a great choice for food (seafood and salads), mediocre in services. Edit: we went there again two days later. The food had the same good quality, plus we were attended to by a great waitress Anca who was the most professional and friendly. Also the other guys were very nice. I guess it really depends on...

You have a nice view over the beach from some of the rooms . The one I had was spacious . Free wifi worked well . The bathroom was nice although the shower basin could have done with an in depth clean . The friendly english speaking cleaning lady deserves special mention ! Staff generally were friendly and the restaurant served a reasonable breakfast and great seafood and other meat dishes . ||Although you can see the sea from the restaurant , terrace and some rooms there is a small cliff below the restaurant terrace so to walk on the beach you had to find and descend steps which were very muddy with lots of rubbish around when we were there. The location is quiet , about half way between Constanta old town and the resort of Mamaia ( think Benidorm ) . A taxi to Constanta was only 15 Lei depending on where ( Euros 3.50 ) ||The pool was set in the middle of the terrace dining area - more for looks than...

The view is indeed gorgeous and you can see the sea nicely from almost every table

~The restaurant's aesthetic is pretty elegant and beautiful and the color scheme fits very nicely. That being said there are some details that are less integrated into the aesthetic and look a bit kitsch (like the plastic plants/flowers or the golden accents)

the prices are enormous, of course you pay for the view and the design of the restaurant but its still too expensive for what it offers.

the food quality is very very poor! It seems very posh and high class but it's really bad: the meat is uncooked, some pieces were completely uneatable; the sweets were also bad: some of them were frozen and others tasted like they were bought a week ago from the supermarket.
