I will write about the things I liked: Big apartment. Kitchen fully equipped from plates, pots, coffee machine... etc. Alot of closets and shelves. Bathroom its big. There is iron and ironing board which is important since clothes gets wrinkly in suitcases. Beach its close (8 min walk). Things I didn't like: The parking lot and the street very narrow ( we found a bump in the back of our car in the parking lot ). The night lamp in the room didn't have light bulb in it. Next to us was a bunch of teenagers 5 or 6 of them they were loud all night and one night they bumped into our door very strong like punching it at 2am . The host knew we r 2 adults and 3 children and they didn't wait for us with extra bed, pillows and blankets as they agree to give us that we had to ask twice for it. first time I asked for extra 2 pillows and 2 blankets they brought me 1 pillow and sheets, then I said I don't need sheets I need blankets then they brought a bed cover as blanket and told me they don't know where is the blanket at... Next day I asked I need pillows and blanket.. they told me the bedroom already have 4 pillows but we will see if we have available! So they brought me 1 pillow and 1 bed cover... honestly at this point I was embarrassed to ask for a blanket not a bed cover so I just let it, we should not go through all that requests because we agreed on it on the phone. The extra bed was actually an inflatable mattress...! I was expecting a folding bed like other apartments/hotels offer. About the cleaning service, this one of the thing it's important for me to come clean the apartment daily, I asked once for cleaning and the second time when I asked I felt the host got mad because in the text message when I asked they did not answer yes or ok just ignored my message and they sent a maid. After that I did not asked any more for room cleaning. If you get angry on somebody asking your services that you offer then should not offer them at all. We initially wanted to stay 11 days but we reduce it to 8 days and that made the host angry we could feel it made them angry that we asked for exta blankets and pillows made them angry when we asked room cleaning twice. All this anger showed up once we left from there by receiving a call from the host talking rudely and say we trashed the apartment.... for a moment I was confused is this owner of a business talking or a cleaning woman talking.. Saying the sheet full of sand and other full of food stain and she have to throw all that expensive sheets, I never heard when you have staid on sheets you just throw it away instead of washing it and bleaching it. You as a owner of a business after the client leave the apartment you go check if there is something stolen or broken( and there was nothing in our case ) you don't go see what mess have there that's the servants job to handle the cleaning and arranging. I've been exploring the black sea for 6 years been in over 12 apartments/hotels/resorts, and never had this experience with the host, and been in over 40 hotels apartments around romania and never had owner called us crying about sheets( the sheet full of sand u shake it of and goes the sand from it ). One important thing is that you as a host you did not give us ticket so all the money we paid u benefit from it without paying tax. So you should be very happy about that. An advice ( talk and act as a business owner, don't talk like a...
Read moreCan not give 5 stars due to the sheer amount of small inconveniences we had. We took an apartment in the basement (the other options here might be different). The place was quite lovely, but there is no air conditioning, just 2 big fans (one in the living room and one in the bedroom). The washing machine had visible rust and was dirty. The fridge also had some rusty spots. The light in the entry hallway started giving out in the 5th day. We also had some issues with the shower water pressure and temperature in the second day (which were fixed quickly by the owner). In the bedroom, there are only 2 outlets, most likely meant for the bed lamps, but the layout of the room was changed so that you can not use one of the lamps. This is about all that was bad. The owners were VERY nice and responded to our every request (to the point I felt bad to tell them about every inconvenience). The apartment was equipped with a stove, a microwave, coffee filter, toaster, fridge, a functional washing machine (even though it was dripping a little) and everything you might need to make some basic foods (a big pan, cutlery, pots). It was lacking a little on the glasses and cups side (only small ones, but a lot of them). Beware of anything that is in an outlet!!! I think they don't have grounding, which resulted in a few jolts here and there 😅). The place is also very close to the Reyna beach,...
