Russkiy Dvorik — Restaurant in Sergiyev Posad

Русский дворик In English means Courtyard. This is a luxurious hotel in the city of Sergiev. Located directly opposite The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra Complex. So after visiting the church complex from the exit gate, you walk to the lower right past the public toilet and then go down to meet the pedestrian underpass where there is a traditional market selling various Russian souvenirs. You come out across the street and see this building.

The thing I want to share here is only about the restaurant.

The shape of the restaurant is very unique, unlike most buildings in the city of Sergiev, this is more ethnic but I don't know which ethnic culture is used at the entrance.

The restaurant is clean and comfortable with a choice of several sitting rooms to choose from, especially if you want to have a group meal with a private group. The interior of the room is made exclusively and decorated with antiques so that it adds a beautiful and classic atmosphere.

Drinks that vary from tea to wine are also available there and authentic Russian food to international food is also available. Please try caviar, one of the authentic foods you should try.

Eating in this restaurant besides paying for food and drinks, we also pay for an atmosphere that makes our appetite increase.

The hotel is situated right in the centre of the town in front of the monastery. It's small and have only few rooms. It's surely one of the best hotels I've stayed in !!||Each room is decorated in its own way. I stayed in Chekhov room - there were photos & paintings, some books of Chekhov and even gramophone. There were tea kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The bad was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Wi-fi was free and fast.||Bathroom was spacious, clean and well-equiped. All equipment was new and work well.||Stuff was very friendly and helpful.||Breakfasts were excellent !! You should choose between 3 sets. Each set has few different and really tasty dishes. You can have it in the restaurant on the ground floor (with a view of Lavra) or it can be served in your room.||There is really good restaurant of Russian cuisine on the ground floor.||The only thing that I didn't like was loud music that played till the dead of the night on Friday. ||As for the prices, the price for my room was absolutely reasonable as the room, conditions and service were excellent !! Prices for rooms with view of Lavra are quite expensive. ||As I said, it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed and I highly recommend it if you are going to stay in...
