Safir Iranian Restaurant is a standout dining establishment in Istanbul, known for its exceptional service and authentic cuisine. The staff at Safir are not only professional but also incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. One of the key highlights of dining at Safir is the accuracy with which orders are prepared and delivered, ensuring that customers receive exactly what they expect.
The true charm of Safir lies in its food. The dishes served here capture the essence of traditional Iranian cuisine, mirroring the flavors and tastes one would find in Iran. This authenticity is a major draw for patrons, offering them a taste of home or an introduction to genuine Iranian flavors. The meticulous attention to culinary detail ensures that every meal is a delightful experience.
In addition to its outstanding food, the restaurant’s location adds to its appeal, making it accessible and attractive to a diverse clientele. Visitors from different countries often find themselves at Safir, drawn by its reputation for quality and its inviting atmosphere. This international patronage speaks volumes about the restaurant's ability to satisfy a wide range of tastes and preferences.
However, there is one area where Safir could improve: its music selection. Currently, the music played in the restaurant does not fully enhance the dining experience. In an establishment dedicated to Iranian culture, a more varied selection of pop or traditional Iranian music would be more appropriate. The right music can significantly contribute to the overall ambiance, making the dining experience more enjoyable and immersive.
In summary, Safir Iranian Restaurant excels in many areas, from its top-notch service and authentic cuisine to its strategic location that attracts a global audience. With a small improvement in its music selection, it has the potential to create an even more beautiful and culturally rich atmosphere, enhancing the dining experience for...
Read moreAfter 4 years of living in Istanbul and not once finding a good Iranian restaurant up to my standards i gave a chance to this place and organised a dinner for 15 of my friends, I was not disappointed, the food was great, came in hot, with big portions and reasonable prices.
The menu is extensive and covers a very good verity of Khoresht and Kabab categories with a delicious compilation of appetisers and desserts with tea, which they were kind enough to server us on the house after dinner.
The staff's attentiveness and care is exemplary and I appreciate their control and attention for large crowds with their kindness and good behaviour.
The first suggestion for better customer attraction as i mentioned briefly in person: is a complete overhaul of the menu, in a time that everyone abandones physical menus for tasteless and boring QR codes, it's best to design a light, colourful persian themed menu with each food having it's own theme and section with short but understandable explanation, having a talented graphics designer to make something like that for you can make the difference of a customer falling in love with your place even before trying the food.
Thank you again for the good service and food and hope to see you again soon. This review was written after my second dining event...

We recently visited the place as a group of 12 expats. Everybody was satisfied with what they got.
This place is a great alternative for Turkish kebab place. The meat kebab comes with a huge generous saffron rice plate. You can easily get full with it, no need to order anything else. The portions are generally more generous than its competitor Turkish Kebab Houses. And the prices are very reasonable for this good quality. In terms of taste, I had better kebab and saffron rice elsewhere in USA, but not in Istanbul yet. So, this place can be a good start to find about about the customs of Persian Cuisine.
I liked the Kaşk Bademcan very much. I can highly recommend it to start with. The soups also looked very savory and rich in flavor. I’ll definitely come back to try. The lavaş was unique. Never ever seen that much thin lavaş anywhere before.
The place is clean, tidy but a little bit narrow. Not very comfortable and spacious I mean for a fancy Restaurant. That’s the only downside.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful.
Overall score 4.2/5 for a...
