Padishah sofrasi — Restaurant in Şişli

I feel sorry to rate Padisah Sofrasi as low as one star. I tried their food two times in the past, and I would rate them four stars.

However, yesterday's service was worth nothing but one star. Here is the story:

I was excited to invite my wife to enjoy Padişah Sofrasi's famous chicken. We both ordered soup and their popular 1/4 chicken leg meal.

The restaurant was vacant at 4:30 pm, and there were dozens of chickens on the grill by the main door. 🤩

However, they refused to accept our order which was advertised in their hard copy menu that was provided to us. 🙄

Their reason is due to their strange policy, which indicates that 1/4 chicken legs are limited to one order per table 🤔.

We decided to leave and eat somewhere else. The staff cares nothing about us going even though their dining room is empty.

Their owner/ manager was at the cashier. From his body language, I can tell that he is behind this odd policy.

Tips for the management: 1- if the reason behind your policy is the fact that your sale of chicken legs leave too much waste of chicken breasts, then do one of the following to avoid losing your clients: a - remove the 1/4 chicken from the menu and sell only 1/2 chicken. b- increase the 1/4 chicken leg price

2- Upsetting your clients by limiting the 1/4 chicken leg to one order per table won’t provide any solid solution for you as you may have many single orders.

3- Train your staff to be friendly and apologetic instead of rude.

Padişah Sofrası was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! The restaurant is managed with excellence by Mr. Amir, who is experienced and very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Ms. Termeh, the manager, is incredibly kind and warm, always greeting everyone with a smile and making the restaurant even more inviting.

The staff are polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a cheerful attitude. The food is absolutely delicious and of high quality – it’s the kind of place that makes you want to return again and again. The ambiance is cozy, warm, and friendly, making you feel right at home.

I do not recommend this restaurant. The food was of average quality and the restaurant staff were inconsistent in their coverage. It took about three minutes to order bread and we ate cold food with bread warmed up in the microwave. Finally, a 10% service charge was charged to pay the bill, which made no sense at all.
