Kool Shack — Restaurant in Upolu

Had a really disappointing experience at Kool Shack. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I placed a last-minute order while they were still open — nothing big, just a second scoop of ice cream. Instead of calmly letting me know if it was a problem, the owner reacted with clear anger and a bad attitude. He made me feel like a burden, scooped the ice cream in a rude way, and even told me I should’ve said something earlier — like I’m supposed to read his mind. I was so uncomfortable by how he acted, I couldn’t even order my sister’s ice cream. That’s how rude and unwelcoming he was.

I’d rather take my money to Scoops, where they actually treat customers with respect — and the ice cream’s just as good, if not better!

There’s no reason to keep running a business if this is how you’re going to treat customers. You might expect this kind of attitude from a local understaffed corner shop — but coming from someone who’s not even Samoan and should know better as a guest in our country, it’s honestly unbelievable.

If you’re too tired or miserable to treat paying customers with basic decency, then maybe consider closing up and stop pretending to run a business.

A friend suggested I check out this hidden gem, and wow! The cheesecakes here are incredibly smooth, subtle, and velvety, truly the best I've ever tasted. Every flavour we tried was absolutely delicious and satisfying. We sampled the passion fruit, nutella, and cookies and cream, and we loved every single one! You absolutely have to try this place. I'm eager to learn how to make cheesecakes like yours so I can enjoy them at home. Also, a big thanks for the fantastic customer service, everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. I had the pleasure of meeting Peter J during my stay, and he truly made my experience memorable.
