Here's an honest review of the food, service, and ambiance.

I ordered the beef korean ramen and beef bao buns. They both had the same seasoned red chicken that was slightly sweet but extremely red for some reason.

The Korean ramen was beautiful to look at, and I immediately ordered it when looking at the picture. I was extremely let down. The broth itself lacked so much flavor and was like water with soy sauce and a tiny bit of salt. The noodles could've been from any random ramen package from the stores. It came with one half of an egg, a few springs of green onion, kimchi, bok choy, chicken, and some seaweed. The egg was so confusing. The white part was so hard and rubbery that it felt like it was overcooked, but the yolk was still somewhat runny. I know how to cook a hard-boiled egg that's slightly runny, and it doesn't and shouldn't have that texture that the ramen had. The boy choy was very pathetically limp and sad looking. The overall flavor was extremely underwhelming, and it's mostly just pretty to look at. I don't recommend this dish to anyone who is looking for something tasty. It was not it. 3/10

The bao buns were also extremely disappointing. I had expected them to be delicious due to the price and the serving size. Both of them proved to disappoint me. They were over expensive for only 3 tiny bao buns. The texture of the buns were not my favorite (which is a personal preference and has nothing to do with the restaurant) they were a bit gummy and chewy? The chicken was meh, very basic and just very red looking. They came hot and cold... the outside of the buns were hot, and the inside was cold. It was as if they were already cooked and mostly put together, and then they reheated it or something. A waste of money.

The service was good, though. The server couldn't understand my question, but that may have been a misunderstanding. They were very sweet and quiet and only came when needed, which was appreciated. They stayed at a distance and didn't hover constantly, which was great.

The ambiance was, of course, what tempted me to come. Absolutely beautiful and so creative. I loved the concept truly! At the back of the restaurant, there are two arcade games that are free. My husband and I had so much fun playing pacman and the other one.

If they made an arcade with the ambiance and made small snacks that were cooked better, they could become very successful, but they should really look into improving the food quality. It wasn't to the standards as it should've been. It was truly a very disappointing experience.

I would love to go again just for a drink and appetizer (if good) with friends just for the ambiance because I really loved the experience of the...

Visited the restaurant on Wednesday 15 March 2023 at 13:50. The restaurant have an ambience resembling one of far east allies or internal streets with nice decoration which give a real, soothing and relaxing environment.

The reception by staff was really warm and welcoming with given choice for seating area (there were few customers at this time). Seating is limited (considering visitors in rush hours although there are some outdoor seating but good only if weather allows)

The menu card was well displayed on the table. The menu is a bit limited but have all the essential dishes out of Chinese and Japanese cousin.

We ordered the following: 1- Hot and Sour Soup (Excillent in taste and moderately spicy with no seafood or chicken smell) 2- Thai Soup with Shrimp (Again the soup was bit thick and fulfilling but tasty and a bit sour as well) 3- Spring Roles (4 pieces per portion, crispy and well fried but they were smaller compared to known Spring role size) 4- Shrimp Teppanyaki and Vegetable Fried Rice (Both Dishes were very good in term of taste but again a bit downside in term of portion size).

The paid price was a bit higher in relation to portion sizing but overall acceptable.

The best part is having Packman and Commando consoles which brought back the nostalgic memories of video gaming.

Staff was very friendly and help full. The service was prompt and quick with occasional check by staff if everything is OK.

Final Verdict: This place is highly recommended and is due for more future visits to try the...

Visiting CHAN was nothing short of an exceptional experience. As someone who appreciates good food and authentic vibes, I can confidently say that this is the best Asian restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was transported to the vibrant streets of Tokyo, Seoul, or Hong Kong. The ambiance is truly immersive, with attention to detail that makes you feel like you’re part of an Asian cultural experience.

The food was simply outstanding. Every single dish we ordered was a masterpiece, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a place where each item on the menu is a hit, but CHAN nailed it.

The staff deserves special recognition for their professionalism and warm hospitality. They made sure our visit was smooth and enjoyable, even with our large group of family members. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Othman, who immediately stepped in to handle our situation with grace and efficiency. A big shout-out to Francis for his swift and attentive service in taking and delivering our orders. Their dedication, alongside the rest of the team, ensured that we had an extraordinary and unforgettable dining experience.

Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back again and again. If you’re looking for authentic Asian food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that takes you on a journey across Asia, this is the...

The crew was very kind to us, especially Sir Maynard. The vibe was good, too. They have a nice playlist of korean songs which were familiar if you watch KDrama. The food was okay. I ordered the Beef Korean Ramen (Ramyeon), their dumplings, veggie fried rice, and their chicken kendo. I want to go into details of the dishes I ordered. First is the Korean Ramen; the soup base was tasty. The toppings were kimchi, bokchoy(?), half of boiled egg, 2 brown button mushrooms, shredded beef in sauce (more like corned beef). I noticed that the noodles were regular dried packed noodles which we could find in groceries (indomie style noodles), so I assumed the Ramen was made from a instant Ramen, which was disappointing for the price of 38 SAR. For the dumplings, it's a little bit on the bland side since the wrap was thick. The sauce on the side was "ok". Nothing special. The serving was good so we don't mind the price. For the fried rice, it's what you'll find in asian stalls in malls like Canton. Peas, carrots, and eggs are the ingredients. Basic fried rice. Not oily, which is on the good side. And lastly, for the chicken kendo. It was crispy enough to be liked by many people. The sauce coating was strong but it's still good. The food arrived on time so I'll give them a thumb up for that. The decorations on their walls are really nice though. You'd feel like you're somewhere in Chinatown.
