It is a decent restaurant with family seating in the vicinity of Haram. We went there for a dinner in Ramadhan and they were serving in canteen style, i.e. you queue, pick from a very limited menu in take away boxes and eat. So, just to be clear, you will not get the authentic food experience or superb service here, it is just too busy for that. But, you will get nice warm food and a decent clean table to sit and eat between prayers, instead of having to go far, hence the five star. If it was elsewhere, it would hardly get three stars. We ordered: Chicken tikka (boneless chicken pieces): 5/5, was nicely done and balances spices Humous: 5/5, decent humous not too much to complain. Chicken Curry (boneless chicken in curry): 4/5, spices were a bit too runny though but can't complain. Chicken shawaya (half chicken): 3/5. A bit too bland and rice were a bit unusual to put it mildly. All meals came with lentils and vegetable curry, which were decent standard. Khubz bread provided was from the supermarket packet and could have been better a bit soft, but did the job.
So, all in all, if I am in Haram with the family and want a quick bite between the prayers I will go here again to eat quick meal in a clean facility. However, it is not a place for an enjoyable family dine...

Read moreThe best thing about the food here is that it is not going to upset your stomach. The portion size alone would leave a reasonably sized man hungry. The only thing you're paying for is the fact that the restaurant is inside the hotel itself. The food lacked taste and even the seasoning left much to be desired. I asked for beef seekh(their shisk) kebab and was handed bland spiceless and tasteless kebabs of chicken. This seems to be an Indian restaurant but the insult this restaurant is to Indian cuisine should force the hands of Indians to sue them for using their name. The chicken biryani was something that a newborn can be fed as porridge. When I asked for the chicken to be spicy I was replied, please buy a chicken curry with it to make it so.
Stay clear. Go for a cheap Pakistani restaurant and you'd be doing both your taste buds and your wallet a favor. A combo for one alone costs more than a meal for 3 at a road side diner food quality of whom aren't...
