Al Baik is undoubtedly one of the most iconic restaurants in Madina, known for its exceptional broast and sandwiches. Their broast is absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, offering a flavor that is hard to match. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you craving more with every bite. One of the most impressive aspects of Al Baik is its outstanding service. Despite the overwhelming crowd—often with over 50 people waiting at a time—the staff manages both dine-in and takeout orders with remarkable efficiency. The team is incredibly cooperative, ensuring that every customer is served promptly and with a smile. It’s amazing to see how well they handle the sheer volume of customers while maintaining such a high level of professionalism. The atmosphere is bustling yet well-organized, making the dining experience enjoyable even in the midst of a massive crowd. And the best part? Al Baik offers this amazing quality at a price that’s more economical than any other broast I’ve come across. It’s a fantastic value-for-money option, making it accessible for everyone without compromising on taste or service. Overall, Al Baik is an absolute must-visit. From its mouthwatering broast to its efficient service and affordable prices, it’s no surprise that it remains a favorite for both locals and visitors in Madina.

The most overrated food i have ever had in my life…..i feel sad and disappointed at the experience i had with 3 different albaik branches in makkah and madinah…..i guess either i have some high fried chicken standards being fond of Canadian Mary Browns, or may be world doesnt know what fried chicken should be……because this burned, overcooked, brown thing fried in old rancid oil is not fried chicken……i had heard so much about it, so had to try it, not once not twice but three times from different branches, to make sure the instant disgust i felt at first bite wasnt a mistake. Also i tried chicken meal three times, falafel meal, bbq burger, double baik burger, shawarma, chicken sandwich with garlic sauce, and corn on cob, so i tasted almost all the representative food items on their menu. Thick areas were loaded with better which feels soggy while thin corners or boney parts have thin or no layer of better, are burned and taste really bad. I have never tasted such bad falafels…..bar bq burger is ladden with very average tasting store baught sweet American bar bq sauce……shawarmas are amlost the length of my index finger…..i am sure they dont use different oil/fryers for different types of meat because chicken has a very fishy taste….it hurts me how much money i spent to reach this conclusion that its not cheap, not tasty, not worth your money Also i find it strange that they keep frying the stuff and put it on a rack which doesnt has controlled temp or anything, just food sitting on one shelf, uncovered, on room temperature, waiting for orders…..saudi food handling standards may be different from our canadian standards, but this practice is not justified by any standards This review is for Albaik in general not specifically for this particular branch, although i did get lots of food from this branch too.

Trying Al Baik has always been on my bucket list, and I finally got the chance to experience it! The hype is real, and the craze surrounding Al Baik is unmatched. If you’re near the Makkah Haram or in Madinah, be prepared for massive crowds—getting in is almost impossible. The best alternative is visiting one of their train station outlets, where the crowd is more manageable. We tried the prawns, chicken nuggets, and fish nuggets, and they were absolutely delicious. Fresh, crispy, and bursting with flavor—these nuggets were pure perfection. Pairing them with the buns, mayo, and ketchup they provide made them even better. The fish nuggets, in particular, stood out and are a must-try! We also ordered a mixed fruit juice (a good alternative if you’re skipping soda). Al Baik has recently introduced ice creams, but I found them just average. Unfortunately, they didn’t have their iconic broast chicken available during our visit. The service was great—the staff went out of their way to clean the table and make space for us, which was much appreciated. Prices are budget-friendly, making it even more worth the experience. Highly recommend the fish nuggets!

If you come to Madina, try this place just once. Not for the food but for the experience. The queuing and ordering system is very well organised, even with the rush of people and apparently I didn't come at a busy time! Almost all languages are spoken so you can't go wrong getting what you want and even if your language isn't spoken here you can point to the signs and the staff will understand. As for the food itself, I ordered the 8 piece chicken meal, Big Baik Sandwich, Shewarma wrap and 7 piece Nuggets meal. Everything was still fresh and hot after a 30 minute walk back to the hotel even the fries. The chicken was surprisingly cripsy and juicy even the breast piece but the taste was lacking a little something. Not quite KFC! The Big Baik was lightly tangy but it was overpowered by the coleslaw and sauce. The Nuggets were really good and the Garlic sauce was banging! Don't expect the best food ever but the experience is worth coming. Oh and it's cheap. Like really cheap compared to Maccies and KFC etc My order was around 65 SAR which in pounds was 14 quid... So yh really good price.

Okay. I know everyone seems to love this food but it’s not all that. Yes value for money it’s excellent. But the quality of the food is nice but that’s it. It doesn’t blow your mind like social media would make you think. I actually preferred Saudi KFC pieces. The garlic sauce is extremely good though Was very put off by the ordering process. You have to queue to get in, queue to get to the counter to order, then take your receipt to another counter and pray one of the workers notices you amongst the masses of other people all waving tickets at them. If you speak Arabic or Urdu and can converse with the workers then you may be more lucky. Or if you don’t care you’re in a holy city and be aggressive. But there is no order and people who arrive before you will get served So have a lot of patience if you come. And you should try it as it’s so iconic, this branch has the full menu unlike the ones near Masjid al Haram
