Bad experience with staff We left from restaurant without eating anything, please read below if your an Indian.
I had an extremely disappointing encounter with the restaurant's staff, marked by a clear bias favoring Saudi and white patrons while showing disregard for individuals of Indian descent, like myself. The wait was an extended 15 minutes, and when a staff member finally attended to us, the experience took a turn for the worse. The individual, who appeared to be handling receipts, was not only disrespectful but insisted that we place our order at the restaurant reception. When expressing my preference to order from our table, he dismissively claimed that ordering from the counter was the established protocol and abruptly left. This discriminatory treatment during our dining experience left a profound negative impact. For fellow Indians contemplating dining here, I strongly advise against it. Read moreI visited Msayya restaurant along with family on yesterday, 27th July 2024 for having lunch after reading reviews and pics. We ordered mixed grill, biryani rice, lentil or daal, samosa mix. Nothing except lentil and the free welcome mint drink was good, mixed grill was very disappointing as one of the kebababs (red minced chicken kebab) was stale and we couldn't eat that and the other kebabs were smelling bad too, so ended up wasting SAR 45 on this. Biryani rice was quite ordinary with no flavor but they are charging SAR 17 for that. Bengali serving guy was polite but that doesn't compensate the bad quality food at all. Samosas as they call it weren't looking like samosas and the taste was bad especially the cheese ones we couldn't eat as they serve this with veg and chicken samosas as well. My request to the owners of the restaurant is to improve the quality of food by appointing a better chef from India. For those who want to visit, you may try other items on the menu as I may have ordered the wrong...
Read moreWe stayed in AlUla for 7 days, and 6 out of those 7 days, we ate here. We absolutely love this place! The food is hands down the best, and the service is amazing. The restaurant is very clean. It’s nice and cool too. They have an open space and also private rooms, which we used — it was perfect for privacy.

This place is also very...
