What has happened to B. Beirut in the last few months? It used to be awesome, but now it's a disaster. We went as a party of 10, but that was too much for the 6 waiters to handle. After 10 minutes of waiting I called one over and tried to order three bottles of water. The guy took our order, walked to his friends by the door for a few minutes, then he walked off never to be seen again. The same happened with our order for starters and main courses but half way through ordering. When you go to a restaurant you assume the waiters know you want to order food, but not at B. Beirut; it seemed like the waiters were baffled that we might want to eat anything. Yes, there was a language barrier but I have been all over the world and eaten in restaurants where nobody speaks the same language, but only at B. Beirut have I had so much trouble ordering any food. At one point after our starters we almost gave up and left. Having a printed menu would have helped so all we would need to do is point at pictures, but I guess B. Beirut thinks it's too cool for printed menus. What a disaster. The food was the only positive aspect. If you don’t speak Arabic, avoid B. Beirut, unless you...
Read moreB.beirut well make you feel as if you are in Beirut literally. The staff were welcoming and kind you will recieve their devoted attention. Your journey will start with a complimentry starter bread and Labnah. We tried their mixed grill plate which was exquisite tasty and well spiced comes with their homemade Thomiah sauce which was surprisingly delicious. The appetisers also were considered a main dish compined with their fresh baked bread we tried the hommus trio and muttabal trio each of which was delicious but the winner here is the pesto hommus you must try. Also the Kebbah Belaban was delicious and the Laban part was really delicious that you will sip it alone but mixed with rice you will have the perfect bite. Lastly they will offer you a comlimentry Mohallabiyah sweet plate which I recommend to order a turkish coffee with it. I strongly...
Read moreI couldn’t take pictures of the dishes, but trust me – the food was incredible. I’m a big fan of mixed grill and have tried countless versions over the years, but I can honestly say B Beirut has the best I’ve ever had. It’s an art to get every item in a mixed grill just right, and they’ve truly mastered it.
We also ordered the Trio Hummus and the Truffle Cheese Pie with honey – both were perfect in flavor and presentation. Everything was fresh, balanced, and absolutely delicious.
Service here is top-notch – warm, attentive, and professional. We had a great time from start to finish.
Trust me, pay them a visit. You won’t just avoid regret – you’ll want everyone you know to experience it too.
Good job,...
