SARUJA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

I recently dining at Saruja Restaurant, a Syrian barbecue restaurant located in Riyadh. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The menu at Saruja Restaurant is extensive, with a wide variety of Syrian dishes to choose from.

The food at Saruja Restaurant is absolutely delicious. The flavors are authentic and the dishes are beautifully presented. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.

One minor complaint I have is that Saruja Restaurant uses plastic utensils. I would prefer to use metal utensils.

I've tried it multiple times and I've never been let down from the food. The kebabs are flavourful and tender. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to the dine in experience and the condiments. For the price bracket, you would expect a much better service and experience when you dine in. First of all, the plates and the cutlery are all plastic. Moreover, the place is crowded. The chairs and tables are all close to each other which doesn't really provide a pleasant experience. The soap in the restrooms feels watered down, and smells cheap.

Furthermore, you would expect when order 1.5 kg of kebabs to at least some fries and condiments along the side like most other restaurants. However, that's not the case. We've asked from a small garlic dip, and they charged us for it. You would expect some reward for being a loyal customer but unfortunately, you...

The most despicable service ever !!! The food came messed up, items from one dish were put inside my friends plate, his food came earlier by 20 minutes and then my dish came missing items, they first said they will get it, then they said it was served inside the first dish claiming they get out whatever is ready even if its half a dish they put it Into the other. Manager is disrespectfull and refused even to come to my table or to provide the missing items. And in the end they said they will provide it but deduct it from the poor worker's salary. Non humane, disrespectful and disorganised managing.

It's also funny they are the only restaurant that makes you pay on the table once they take the order before any food comes out!!!
