I recently dined at Zouq Al Mazaq, an exceptional Arabic restaurant that offers a truly authentic culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, the elegant Middle Eastern decor and cozy ambiance set the stage for a memorable meal. The restaurant has a welcoming vibe, making it perfect for family gatherings or a relaxed evening with friends.
I opted for the mixed grill platter, and it was fantastic. The meats—chicken, lamb, and kofta—were grilled to perfection, juicy, and packed with flavor. Each bite was seasoned beautifully, with the right amount of smokiness and spice. The accompanying hummus was creamy and smooth, while the freshly baked bread was soft and warm, ideal for dipping. My friends tried the lamb kabsa and falafel, and they were equally impressed by the rich flavors and generous portions.
The service was attentive, with the staff making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The food arrived promptly, and the presentation was visually appealing.
Zouq Al Mazaq is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Arabic cuisine. With great food, friendly service, and a charming atmosphere, it’s a place I’ll...

Zoq Al Mazaq Restaurant offers an authentic dining experience with a great selection of flavorful dishes. The food is well-seasoned, generously portioned, and prepared with care, making it a fantastic spot for those who appreciate quality cuisine. The restaurant’s welcoming ambiance and family-friendly environment enhance the overall dining experience. Additionally, the staff are attentive and provide excellent service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.
However, during peak hours, the restaurant tends to get quite busy, leading to potential wait times for seating and service. While the flavors are bold and rich, some dishes may be spicier than expected, so guests who prefer milder options should request recommendations from the staff.
Despite these minor inconveniences, Zoq Al Mazaq Restaurant delivers on taste and hospitality, making it a worthwhile dining destination in Riyadh. With slight improvements in managing peak-hour service, the experience could be even...
Read moreThe service is fast, the restaurant is very clean and organized, but the food is not the best.
I had the chicken showerma sandwich and i have many comments: 1- The bread needs to be toasted, it tasted almost like raw dough. 2- the sandwich needs to be wrapped tighter because everything was falling off and i had to eat it with a spoon 3- the garlic sauce is very soupy, use thicker paste like garlic sauce, unless you are going for a turkish style showerma than don't use garlic!. 4- it is very weird putting lettuce in a showerma sandwich, tomatoes are ok but it is also not very Traditional for the Middle Eastern showerma, tomatoes and lettuce is for the Turkish showerma. 5- Please stop using catchup and regular hot sauce for shawarma, use spicy chilly paste you can find in Syrian stores and use pomegranate molasses as optional Condiments, i know i am the one who asked for hot sauce in my sandwich, because their was nothing else spicy. 6- when offering dine in food, please provide extra garlic sauce...
