Best Shawaya in Riyadh. Excellent red, white and yellow rice combo with superb tasting meat, be it their chicken rotisserie aka shawaya in Arabic, or mouthwatering succulent Lamb shank. Look at the picture and start drooling. The price of this lamb shank rice was just 55, which is very reasonable as compared to their neighborhood famous Overhyped restaurant...😀

I recently visited Shawaya House Restaurant and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The seating appeared old and unclean, and the sink was filthy with water everywhere. I ordered the mendi for dinner, but received a yellow, greasy chicken that was inedible and tasted artificial. The rice lacked flavor, and the high prices did not justify the quality. I'm genuinely regretful for choosing this restaurant and cannot recommend...
