I'm Vietnamese, I grew up eating phở and I'm just so happy that there is finally a place that serves authentic Vietnamese phở in Belgrade ( and guess what, it is run by a Vietnamese!). Phở here is exactly how homemade phở tastes like, I even got nostalgic because it did remind me of my mom's phở. The comments from Russians here claiming that it is not authentic and flavourful enough are beyond ludicrous. The great phở broth should be transparent, flavourful but light and yes, we do put a lot of onion in our phở. The 'lack of flavour' that the commenters are referring to are probably here because they know this phở broth full of msg and other artificial spices that you can encounter in many eateries in Vietnam. Keep in mind that this is a small business with a small kitchen that actually cares about giving you the quality and real taste of Vietnamese food as much as they can given the availability of the products and other limitations. If you want to get your food faster, you can always call the place in advance and order the food. P.S. they also have...

The broth was quite flavorless, and the portion of beef was ridiculously small (large portion had 40g of beef. Thats like ⅓ of regular portions elsewhere.) The noodles were pretty average, and the onion slices were cut so thick that they overpowered every bite. On top of that, they didn’t have the usual condiments like sriracha or hoisin sauce, just some strange substitutes. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience. Considering it was also a cafeteria styled place. +2 stars for the smiles and kindness of workers.
Note to owner: Time and care is key to a good pho. -Thinly slice onions even if takes more time. Don't sacrifice quality for efficiency. -put more effort into broth. No one wants to pay 1000rsd to eat bullion cubes and msg. -fix the meat portion. 1100rsd for 40g of meat is ridiculous. -fix your sauces -your team is a little messy. Learn to lead and organize your team!

Read moreWe waited 70 minutes for three Pho Bo soups, which should take a maximum of 15 minutes to make (I’ve been to Vietnam). I’ve never waited so long for any food in my life!
And of course, no one told us about this delay when we paid at the counter while ordering. I think this is a big sign of disrespect to the customer and their time.
As an apology, after asking for my receipt to check that I really waited 70 minutes, they offered me a 10% discount on the amount I had already paid. Whether this is a fair solution from the restaurant for a 70-minute wait is up to you to decide.
The Pho Bo was a 3 out of 5. I’m lowering the score because there was a small amount of meat and sprouts, only one not-good-but-okay sauce to add to the soup, and they used lemon instead of lime. The portion size was good for the...
