We gave this place several chances because most of our friends seem to love it, but no. If there is a restaurant in this city I detest, Piknik is the one.
While the view is great and it has a nice vibe, it all gets ruined once you get food and interact with staff. That's of course if the food gets to the table cos they tend to forget about your order.
Even with reservations, we were constantly reminded we need to leave soon so they can take in more guests. Waiters don't even come to ask if everything is okay, everyone is in a rush, they literally throw a menu on the table and leave so you can't ask anyone about the freshness or ingredients, dietary restrictions. Everyone is rude.
The hostess at the entrance is like a mythical creature you need to defeat in order to get in. You're basically waiting for a while until they take you to your table.
Food wise, it's very bland and not worth it. Last time I ordered grilled vegetables as a side. Not only were they cold by the time they served them, it was basically carrots with three cauliflower florets and one slice of mushroom.
Even as a pescaterian I had a hard time finding anything on the menu, let alone for vegetarians and vegans.
We love to spend money on restaurants and tip generously. I didn't even tip here, just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Read moreI recently had an incredibly delightful dining experience at Restaurant Piknik, and I can't stop raving about it! The food and drinks surpassed all expectations, with each dish bursting with flavor and leaving me craving more. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly elevated the entire meal.
But it's not just the delectable cuisine that sets Restaurant Piknik apart – the location and atmosphere are nothing short of perfect. Nestled in a charming setting, the restaurant offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal with friends or a romantic evening.
And let's not forget about the sweets – they are an absolute must-try! The desserts are a symphony of flavors and textures, each bite sending your taste buds into a state of pure bliss. It's a culinary journey that you won't want to miss.
One piece of advice: make sure to reserve your table in advance. The popularity of Restaurant Piknik speaks for itself, and securing a reservation ensures you won't miss out on this extraordinary dining experience. Trust me, you'll leave with a heart full of happiness and a palate that's been...
Read moreI take pride for being very objective when it comes to writing suggestions of places for other people to visit based on my personal experience. So for the people who take their time to read my reviews of the places worth visiting, I would suggest to highly avoid this restaurant. If you don't want to have your entire day/night ruined. This place is for wannabes and people with no character, the staff is unprofessional (with exception to one guy and girl who greet the guest at entrance). We had a very bad experience with waiter who refused to take our order after multiple times trying to reach him, the only thing left was to make some kind of smoke signals just to get his attention or to place a lighthouse🕯️at our table just so that Mr. President the Waiter could indulge us with his almighty presence. It's a shame for management, owners and other employees of this restaurant. Don't go there, spend your valuable time somewhere else, they are not worth it,...
