Čarda "Kućerak na Ribarcu" — Restaurant in City of Novi Sad

The food was so discasting it can not be discribed with words! We ordered mixed meat 400 grams, bbq sausage, chicken rolled in bacon, fresh cabbage salade and sopska salade. Mixed meat 400 gr - one small pork chop that was prepared 1 or 2 days ago and it could not be cut rather eat, it was uneatable! , one small peace of chicken breast also prepared earlier, who knows when, and it was cremated and of corse uneatable, 2 small kebab and thin small bbq sausage that was soure. First off all, that was not 400g of meat and that was the worst dish we have ever tasted! The rolled chicken in bacon did not have chicken in some peaces but only bacon. Baked potato was too oilly and over-baked. Fresh cabbage salade was prepared earlier and it was not fresh at all. The conclusion is avoid this place! Total disappointment!

Blago bi bilo reci da je hrana bila uzasna! Narucili smo mesano meso 400g, rostiljske kobasice, rolovane raznjice, 2kupus salate i sopsku. Mesano meso 400grama- jedna omanja krmenadla koja je ispecena dan ili 2 dana pre i lose podgrejana, nije mogla da se isece nozem a kamoli pojede, jedno parce pileceg belog mesa koje je takodje ko zna kad ispeceno i jos uz to kremirano i naravno ne jestivo, 2 mala cevapa i pola kisele rostiljske tanke kosice cine porciju od navodno 400grama mesanog mesa. Rolovani raznjic u kome u nekim parcicima nema mesa vec samo slanina. Krompir masan i toliko tvrd da je jedva jestiv. Kupus salata uvela, verovatno su sekli kupus pre ko zna koliko dana. Amazing place with very homey vibes. The staff were very welcoming and happy to offer recommendations, which we took and were delighted with. Seperate smoking and non smoking area which is nice. We had the Fish Soup 🍲 and added some hot pepper powder to give it a kick to our liking. Also ordered the Grilled Zander (Smuđ) 🎣 which had a nice velvet mouth feeling and was tasty on its own, additionally tasty with garlic sauce and lemon on top. If you're looking for a great aftertaste, the Quince (Dunja) Rakija was a great starter drink, although quite strong for those not used to it. Perhaps what's needed is a bit of cultural competency on my part; despite being born and raised Serbia, I spent a fair portion of my life in America and have been accustomed to a certain standard of service. That being said, the waiting staff was increasingly rude and defensive when I asked for them to check in on the food (as we had been waiting for a while, and a few tables that had walked in before us had come, been serviced, and left). The food is decent, if not a bit too salty. I recommend sitting outside, but bring a jacket as it gets windy.
