I've been a regular at Rits since 2020, always ordering their laksa, hokkien mee, nasi goreng kampung, chicken chop and nasi lemak these food were really delicious back then. Unfortunately, I've noticed a decline in food quality over time. I've always gave myself excuses to try and try their food again and not only their waiting time for food can take anywhere from 30-40mins. Mind you they only have 1/2 tables each time and have always prioritised the online orders from Grab/Foodpanda. Not only the food is getting more expensive which is understandable but atleast maintain quality and consistency. Today, I decided to give Rits another shot since I missed their laksa. I received a laksa with an unusual color and a strange smell. When I raised my concern with the staff, I was told the color was just a bit darker today. However, the soup was sour, overly salty, and tasted off. I ordered the $5.50 which is the bigger verson and only got 1pc of XXS prawn last time I would always get about 4pcs of big and fat prawn. I threw away the food as it was so bad and left hungry, unsatisfied and disappointed. I hope the bosses take this feedback seriously and looks into improving the food quality to ensure a better dining experience for everyone. This shop is located nearby and really a good location. I remembered when it just opened, the place was filled with happy customers and when the bosses were around often times the food was great, on time & we felt that the food was value for money. The bosses were down to earth and always walked around to ask how was the food. I missed the old Rits. Looking at the 'abandoned' place right now I hope that they would do something about it.

Please please please improve on your food. Super suffering for the people staying around this area, not much food around and your food is so bad. Really bobian then eat your food To customers: DON'T trust those reviews that say hokkien mee is good LOL. The proportion of bee hoon and mee is just?!?!?!?!? Bee hoon alot more than mee and the entire hokkien mee is just so nua and horrible. The taste is just smelly cos the prawn seems to be spoilt or smth. Mee soto used to be ok but now it's damn oily and watery. The cashier never even ask if want small or big then just ownself decide I want big portion LOL want earn money only. Usually other place if never ask big or small will just put small for the customer. Eat the mee soto alrdy feel damn GAOWEI cos its so damn oily. Feel like I ate one week worth oil. Waste of money. You see people that say cheap and good, confirm is friend review one. Cos its not cheap its not good. If can rate 0 star I would have rated 0. Ritz kitchen is really the worst place to eat at. They are only playing location because there's really not much food around this area. Please don't support them anymore and let them close down so that people who really want to cook good food can open new eateries in this area. PLEASE LA WANT OPEN F&B AT LEAST HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO IMPROVE ON YOUR FOOD!!!!!!

We ordered laksa but was shocked to find upon reaching home, that the noodle wasn’t the laksa noodle but instead yellow noodles. Then there was no laksa leaves, but chinese parsley/ spring onions (daun sup) and fried shallots were given. The prawn eaten was very bad. It has a smell to eat after chewing. Gravy was sweet. 😭 Ayam penyet was given sambal belacan instead of the usual sambal out there and the soup, it was a cross between mee soto soup and beef soup with 5 spices so prominent. Disappointing. This was our first time trying as we chanced upon it on our way back from the polyclinic nearby to home at bukit panjang. The first and the last. I don’t know what the cook was thinking. If we were to dine in, I would surely ask them why the laksa like that. My son who wanted to eat the laksa that we bought for him was very disappointed and he said the noodles and gravy just don’t match. We end up throwing it away fear of food poisoning. I understand if there is shortage of laksa noodles but please don’t cheat us and tell us upfront, don’t replace with ingredients for mee rebus or mee soto soup for the ayam penyet.. I came to see the reviews here and found out too late. No wonder the restaurant no one sitting in at all. Should have listened to my guts.
