龙飞麻辣香锅 Dragon-Fly Mala Hotpot - Bukit Panjang — Restaurant in Singapore

Used to be my good ol' reliable for mala in the west, be it by takeaway, dine-in or delivery. The standard has dropped so drastically these months I double checked if I ordered from the right shop... The other reviews clearly agree.

I've ordered thrice now, hoping that the previous bad experience was a fluke but it's just the standard now. Noodles are hopelessly soggy but I can close an eye for it since it's delivery. I always indicate more sauce, but it's always dry and u can't even pick up noodles without picking up everything else like a bush. They never have coriander either. The spice is inconsistent, and superbly bland— I have to add my own home chilli sauces to eat this. Pork belly is so overcooked I can't even taste the fatty parts from the lean meat. Really disappointing. The best tasting thing is the cheese tofu. Not to mention the prices are ridiculous for its quality. No more...

It's totally not recommended, even if you are nearby. Trust me, you have a lot better choice out there.

Chewing gum beef, instead of slice beef, it tastes like chewing gum (doest taste like beef. After a few bites, we even forgot we ordered cumin beef. Where is my cumin? Run away from home?? Lol

Chong Qing chicken, if you said it's a normal chicken popcorn with peanut, I will believe you. Where is my chong qing style? Where is the spice! Chicken is not crispy, it taste like a takeaway fried chicken packed in a container for an hour (soggy)
