As a foreign tourist, my experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible and unacceptable. I wasnāt very hungry, so I ordered a kidsā meal. At no point during the ordering process did the staff mention that the kidsā meal could only be ordered if we had a child with us, nor was this stated anywhere on the menu.
When the food was brought to our table, the waiter suddenly noticed that we didnāt have a child and told us we couldnāt eat the meal. Instead, we were forced to pay the price of an adult meal for the kidsā portion, and on top of that, we were told we couldnāt dine in that mealāwe had to pack the meal to go. This made absolutely no sense. If this was a strict policy, why wasnāt it clearly stated or explained when we ordered?
When we questioned the waiter about this, their only response was that āthis is the law,ā completely ignoring the fact that this was clearly a failure in the restaurantās management. The menu did not explicitly state that the kidsā meal was restricted to children, nor did anyone confirm with us whether we had a child when we placed the order.
What made this even worse was that we ended up paying for an adult meal, received the kidsā portion, couldnāt eat it in the restaurant, and not a single apology was offered. Throughout the entire ordeal, only one waiter tried to explain the situation, and no supervisor or manager came to resolve the issue. This level of service and lack of responsibility is shocking.
The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will never return to this restaurant and would not recommend...

Ordered Ala Carte Chicken Teriyaki Sauce Ramen (upsized Noodle), Fried Karaage and a Ice Houji Tea.
The noodle were not springy at all. It is soggy and a strong taste of alkaline. The chicken meat was dry. The worst ramen ever.
At the end of the meal, my fried karaage was not served. So I politely asked one of the staff to cancel the order since my ramen and drinks were finished. She went to the kitchen to check and came back saying that I have ordered a set meal and will have to change my order to ala carte in order to cancel. I explained to her that whatever I ordered was ala carte. I immediately took out my phone to show her the order summary as proof.
All I get from her was a word "ok". Not apologetic at all for their mistakes. That frustrates me the most. In the end, another staff void my fried karaage and settle my bill without apologizing for the mistake/overlook my orders.
The management has to do something to educate/train your service staff proper etiquette.

I worked in Fnb and am pretty sure the payment system would have my order on it already. Previous times when other staff handled the payment they also didnāt require my bill but just see where which table I was sitting at and asked me to check my order.
