Read moreDate /Time of Incident: 10 Jul 2025, around 6.40pm Location: Burger King @ Woodleigh Mall Incident: My husband, 13-month-old toddler and I sat down for dinner. My husband had ordered a meal and an ala-carte burger to share, while I proceeded to start feeding my toddler a home-cooked meal.
Mid-way, a staff name Doreen or Domeen approached us and reprimanded us for feeding my toddler a home-cooked meal, saying “No Outside Food”. To which I retorted, “are you telling me that my barely 1 year old child has to eat a burger?” The staff hesitated for a moment, at which another lady (whom I presume to have made the initial complain), rushed to her side to tell her that her complaint was directed to another table and not mine. The staff then proceeded to confront the other table.
I would have left the situation as is, but the staff had the audacity to come back and re-iterate her “No Outside Food” insistence regarding my toddler’s food. While I do understand that the “No Outside Food” policy is to deter loiterers and should be applied to older children, it is unreasonable and unsensitive of the staff to insist that I cannot feed my 13-month-old toddler a home-cooked meal while waiting for my paid Burger King meal.

Firstly we arrived 7.58am in the morning, we asked one of the staff she said the store will open at 8am. OK,so we wait till 8am, by then the main lighting all still not turn on yet(as if customer are not welcomed/still preparing) - so why did the operation time state to start at 8am?
My family decided to go ahead to order via the kiosk despite of the lighting not turn on issue. First machine after we ordered, it was down with the card machine. We decided to go aheaded to order via the second machine, down again.
Disappointed, one male staff slowly walk in at 8.04am. He then turned on the main area lighting. I asked him both machine I can't make payment. He didn't talk or explain anything or give me alternative to order. Just kept quiet and went ahead to fix the machine and left us not sure what to do as I stand beside him for the next few minutes.
Me and my family was so disappointed with the poor service this BK offered. Never again I will visit this brand. We left without ordering anything in the end.
