Updated review: Have been visiting this branch more because my kids have some activities at Woodleigh Mall and their service has really improved to the level of my favourite branch (City Square).
Queuing and table management is more organized, the service quality of the same staff have also improved, and the food quality is now great!
Well done to the Woodleigh Mall team and Genki Sushi management! Special mention to Mum Hoe, Chia Shen and Woei Shan.
Previous review: The entire way this branch operated was ABYSMAL. Took a queue number on the app, queue was called, had others in queue and had the cheek to say they cannot control the system.
It was the same for my previous visit - long queue, food took forever to come, and food quality was so-so.
Am condemning this outlet until I see more positive reviews coming in.
Do yourselves a favour and head over to the City Square branch. Have consistently had better experience with them operations and food-wise.

Also, try to order all your items at the start of your dining session. Waiting time for food can be rather long even after you have been seated. Read moreThe service we experienced in Woodleigh was very bad. Our family reached at restaurant on 11:10am on 16th June. We have 4 people. Staff Chia Shen attended us and allocated the bar seat. We are requesting if we can sit on table seat, there are more than 4 empty tables left, Somehow is non peak hour. I further explained that we have 2 young children, bar seat is not convenient for us to feed kids.
