CALI, Park Avenue Changi Hotel — Restaurant in Singapore

Very bad customer service. My friends wanted to get a drink there. Arrived before 8PM, where the Happy Hour Promo was still available. But they also had the “Entertainer” discount, so they check if it be could used & what selections are available. The staff said that it could be used but not for the HH, which is understandable. The second staff came to clarify and said it’s for the whole selection of draught beers. So they took awhile to decide on what to order. Around 8:10, when about to place an order, the third staff was the one serving, he then said the “Entertainer” discount is only for 1 particular beer & the other choices are not available (This makes it more expensive than the HH promo). So they asked if they could order the HH promo tower instead since they did ask when they arrived before 8PM. But the third staff say that it cannot be done.

The first two staff had no clue on what was included and gave out false information resulting in the customer relying on that information. The third staff did not attempt do anything to salvage the situation. Just really poor customer service..

Used the Eatigo app gor a 40% discount. Still found it on the pricey side relative to the quality of the food. Food was generally average. Had prawn quesadillas and beef chimichangas. My friend ordered the prawn and asparagus aglio olio pasta. We shared the spicy garlic honey fries as an appetizer.

The winner of the night was, fortunately or unfortunately, the fries. Tasted like Korean spicy tteoboki snack and Korean spicy garlic fried chicken.

The Mexican food wasn't stellar at all. The prawn quesadillas had prawns with the tail shells still on, making it unpleasant to eat. It was all largely filled with cheese, so it was rather one dimensional in flavour. The beef chimichanga was better but I think you can get better Mexican food at GyG.The prawn pasta was not too bad but it was on the light side. Nothing stellar but it was not terrible either.

Total damage was 56 bucks already with discount and it paying about 25+ each for average food was...

even though you have a huge discount, save your time to travel all the way here if you lived far, service was so bad.

they only give utensils when we ask them. when they pass us the utensils, they dropped it on the cake we ordered and it hit my friend & the cake was smashed even before we started eating but thankfully he did apologise.

we ordered a small triple chocolate cake with a request of having a candle, the staff won't even bother to light up the candle for you & yes, we have to ask for them to light up too.

food was just ok, the chicken in the burger doesn't really have a taste & pasta was dry & hard to swallow, they can even forgot our truffle fries when they repeated the order to us, didn't informed that the lava cake will take...
